Head to The Beach! This adorable, well-stocked, Wild Dunes Beach Villa sits just a block to the beach. It's located 20 minutes outside of historic Charleston, SC in the exclusive island Golf community of Wild Dunes on Isle Of Palms. At this Racquet Club Villa, you will be centrally located to enjoy all of the world class amenities of the Wild Dunes resort. This Villa has a Premier Locations within Wild Dunes, directly across from the resort's main Golf, Swim, Tennis, and Playground areas. It's just a half block to the Grand Pavillion Boardwalk area and a short walk to the beach. The beach access path is to the left of the tennis courts that are located directly in front of the Villa. When you enter this lovely villa, you'll instantly feel 'right at home' with the peaceful, 'Lowcountry' Lagoon water views. You'll have an spacious, easy-flowing floor plan, perfect for relaxing and entertaining friends and family. This Villa is one of the largest in Wild Dunes and is very open and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The Great Room, Dining Room and Kitchen all share this open, easy-flowing space. The Great Room sports a 50", flat screen, streaming-enabled Roku HDTV and a 'palm frond' Ceiling fan. All of the sofas and the club chair in this main Living Room are high-end leather, and are super-comfy and 'nap-friendly'! The Great Room flows into the Dining Room and seats 6, plus there are 2 seats at the Kid-Friendly, Kitchen Bar. There is also a 'Pottery Barn' Game Table w/ 4 chairs, and plenty of games, puzzles and books to keep everyone happy! The roomy Kitchen has been completely updated with Stainless Steel Appliances, Granite Counter tops w/ a Raised, Eat-In Bar and a Ceramic Tile Back Splash. This Kitchen is EXTREMELY well stocked, w/ all of the utensils, appliances, and entertaining pieces you could ask for, including 2 coffee makers, a Keurig, Crock Pot, power blender, serving and baking essentials- what WE would want in a "home away from home". All of the serving pieces compliment the decor of this darling Villa, so you can invite friends and family over and entertain with ease. This is a very comfy, laid back, well-equipped, 'family-friendly, easy entertaining, friends-having-a-great-time' beach house that is comfortably furnished with all of the essentials of home. The porches in this beautiful Villa are everywhere! There is a Screened In Porch with a Ceiling fan and a large, round dining table with 6 chairs right off the Great Room / Dining Room, that's perfect for 'Al-fresco' dining or playing cards with family and friends, and another deck off the main living area. Both of the porches have a 'Lowcountry', water view and overlook the peaceful Lagoon. There's also a deck overlooking the Lagoon off the Master Bedroom, and another deck off the Mid Level (2nd floor) / Dual Master Bedroom that overlooks the tennis courts. There's plenty of seating on all porches to offer relaxing, 'chilling out' spaces for everyone. This Professionally Decorated, 3 level Villa has three Bedrooms (each with its own, private, Full Bath) and sleeps 8. One, Dual Master Bedroom is located just five steps up to the 'mid-level' and has a Queen sized bed w/ Luxury, 'Hotel-Quality' sheets and pillows and a super soft 'pillow-soft' mattress cover (we actually sleep better in these beds than the ones we have at home)! This Bedroom has a newly Upgraded Bath with an Over-sized, Pebble-Floor Shower and its own deck that overlooks the tennis courts. The second Master Bedroom is HUGE, and it's located at the rear of the Villa on the top floor, away from the hub-bub of the main living area. This Master Bedroom sports a a King sized with those same 'Hotel-Quality' Sheets, pillows and 'pillow-soft' mattress covers, a Twin / Twin Trundle bed, a Private Bath with 2 sinks, a Jacuzzi tub, a reading nook with a comfy loveseat, and its own, Private Deck that overlooks the quiet, peaceful Lagoon. The 3rd Bedroom is located on the top level, as well, and has 2 Twin beds with those same comfy sheets and pillows, and its' own Bath with a tub (and shower wand!) for the kids. All beds have luxury, 600 count cotton sateen sheets and thick, pillow-soft mattress covers added for maximum, "Hotel-Quality" comfort. All BR's have new, 32", flat-screen, Cable / Roku enabled TV's (the Great Room has a 50" Roku TV and the Master Bedroom has a 40" TV). All bedrooms are equipped with Ceiling Fans. The entire main floor is very open and spacious. The living room, dining room and kitchen all share this open space. This Villa is steps to Woody's Restaurant, which offers breakfast all day, lunch and Happy Hour (they have a bar with beer, wine and limited liquor for Bloody Mary's, etc.). WE PAY FOR AND PROVIDE A SPORTS CARD, which allows our Vacation Guests to use all of the amenities of Wild Dunes (Golf, Tennis, Swimming Pools, the 4 on-site Restaurants, Bike Rentals, the Spa and Fitness center, The Boardwalk Pavilion and much more. POOL ACCESS: The Swim Center Pool is just steps from the Villa and is Heated Year-Round. It has Lap Lanes and it opens at 10:00 am. The Palm Cove Pool is available after 3:00 pm. The Pavilion Pools are available after 4:00 pm and have Table Service and a Burger Bar. ALL POOLS ARE COMPLIMENTARY FOR OUR GUESTS. NOTE: There are additional fees for some Amenities, such as Golf, Tennis or Bike Rentals, charged to all Wild Dunes Guests using these amenities (Call the Wild Dunes Resort for reduced costs). We have a GOLF CART available for rent ($250 per week, $200 in the off season), which is $100 less than area golf cart rentals, which will make your travels around Wild Dunes and to the beach quick and easy (you may park the cart at the beach in approved areas close to the beach on the resort). You'll need to read, agree to and sign a 'Golf Cart Usage Agreement' to operate the golf cart within the resort. Or, if you want to simply relax and get away from it all, just pull your beach chair onto the quiet, sugar-sand beach and feel your cares drift away! Wild Dunes is close to great restaurants and funky shops here on the island, and it's only a 20 minute drive into Charleston, SC- and 10 minutes to nearby Sullivan's Island. Isle of Palms has a GREAT, wide beach, with lots of white, sugar-spun sand and shelling (look for sand dollars, tulip shells, horseshoe crabs, starfish and conch shells). Many people para-sail or windsurf here also. This is a very popular home with many renters returning year after year, some for months at a time. Isle of Palms, nearby Sullivan's Island and Charleston all have STELLAR restaurants (we can make recommendations!), lots of super shopping, a state-of-the-art Aquarium, and many museums and neat shops. Enjoy re-discovering history by strolling along the Charleston Battery, take a horse driven carriage ride and learn all about the area's history, visit the raised Hunley submarine, or explore Fort Moultrie... the choices are endless! On Isle of Palms, you will have an uncrowded, peaceful place to unwind- and when you are ready to 'kick up your heels', you can drive into Charleston and get as busy or as crazy as you'd like! There are lots of great seafood and steak restaurants, and a few really stellar oyster and sushi houses (if you're into that sort of thing)! Here, you'll have the best of both worlds- peace when you really need it, a nearby pool for the kids when you don't feel like going to the beach, restaurants just steps away, and all of the advantages of a big, large city for some fun and excitement when you are done with the laid back 'R&R' feel of Isle of Palms. We partner with a local property management company just in case y'all need anything during your stay.
