This luxury 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom house is the perfect mountain getaway located just 12 miles from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park. Large, covered deck with BBQ grill and outside dining along with a 6-person jacuzzi tub make enjoying the forested views a breathtaking treat. This secluded home offers quick access to the Targhee National Forest, Henry’s Lake, and the town of Island Park. This is a pet free home. You will be charged a $1000 fine if you bring a pet into this home. The space Entering the home on the main level you will first come into the open plan living room kitchen and dining area. This large kitchen comes fully equipped with everything needed to make a gourmet meal after a day enjoying the area. Enjoy your meals at the dining table with seating for 12 quests or take a quick bite at the kitchens island bar with available seating for 5. Add a nice BBQ dish to any of your meals and enjoy dining on the covered deck with a 4 burner gas grill and additional dining area. The master bedroom on the main level features a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with garden tub and stand-up shower featuring 3 unique shower heads, and private access to the back deck. On the lower level you will find two unique king bedrooms and a children’s room. The first of the two lower-level king bedrooms has and ensuite bathroom with shower and vanity. The second lower-level king room has an ensuite bathroom with a double shower and large vanity. Give the kids plenty of room to play in their own bedroom. This lower-level children’s room has two sets of built-in queen-sized bunk beds and a play area with an oversized bean bag that unzips and doubles as a bed. With plenty of games, toys, and books to keep them entertained for hours. The lower-level family room was built for entertaining. The large sectional sofa and overstuffed recliner are perfect for relaxing and enjoying a movie. Make a drink at the bar area or head outside to the patio and soak in the private jacuzzi. This home has everything you need to make this a perfect vacation retreat. There is no trailer parking at this location. Alternative trailer parking can be provided upon request. This home does not have AC, most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning. We encourage our guests of My Yellowstone Retreat to open the windows at night to enjoy the cool evening temperatures and close those windows during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep cooler air inside the home. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the home. Additionally, homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.
