"The Rosalie" at Clover Hill Farm

You will love the quiet of the farm and star filled nights The views from bed of the horses and hay fields invite you to adventure out. The lofted ceiling is open and airy while the dining/kitchen area on the lower level is cozy an intimate. The Rosalie has a private entrance, parking area and private deck. New Fast Internet makes this an all around best of both worlds connectivity and rural setting. I welcome like- minded guests to come relax and recharge. The space The "Rosalie" apartment is a one bedroom studio apartment adjacent to the main house on Clover Hill Farm it is on 115 acre horse farm just 7 miles from the Goochland Courthouse. The farm belonged to my Great Aunt Rosalie and Uncle James Ball It was renovated in 2010 with refinished floors, new windows, a bathroom makeover and a lower level kitchen making it self sufficient from the main house. The Rosalie is an ideal size for two guests. (It is not offered for 4 adults ) It features a king bed on the main first floor w bath and sitting area. The bed arrangement can also be split to two XL twin beds for traveling friends. A cot and couch can stretch the use to 4 if traveling with small children. It is priced for two guests ( additional per person fee of $20 over 2 guests will apply) The main house "The James" a 4 bedroom cape cod style house which can sleep 8 is also available for booking. Together a group of 10 can stay. The Rosalie was renovated for privacy and comfort for my use as a vacation home from my working farm near Bel Air, Maryland. A farm manager and family help me maintain the smooth flow of guests visiting the "Rosalie and James". Well behaved pets considered on a case by case basis additional Rules, Pet Fee and approval required. Powhatan State Park and the James river offer a great spot for outdoor adventure off the farm or head east to Short Pump in Richmond for shopping choices ad infinitum. Guest access The apartment is a 800 square foot wing to the main house. Enjoy the privacy of your deck and side yard. Enjoy the shared spaces of the farm's field edges and pathways. When visitors are in the main house the front yard and side patio are for their use. Other things to note If approved to bring pets, a pet fee of $25 per pet ( per 7 days ) is also required. The lower level entrance has a small frog that is like a tiny doorman, please if tiny creatures scare you don't rent this space.
