The kitchen is well stocked with all you need (pots/pans, dishes, utensils, rice maker, crockpot, griddle, toaster, coffee maker, blender, hand mixer) to make your meals. An ice maker under the large island is an added bonus perfect for making your tropical drinks. With vibrant beach-colored walls and murals, the living room has a 55-inch Roku TV. With Roku, you can stream your favorite shows, so be sure to bring your login/ passwords for Netflix, prime video, Hulu, etc. This living room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, and reconnecting with friends and family. BEDROOMS The first master bedroom is at the left front of the house overlooking the deck. Sink into the king size bed while watching your favorite shows on the 40 inch smart TV. Or if you prefer, draw the blackout curtains and call it a night. The second bedroom, located in the back left, has 2 queen velvet beds with a 40 inch smart TV. Melt into the queen beds after a day in the sun in this tropical themed room and binge watch your favorite shows. The 3rd bedroom is at the front right of the house overlooking the deck with ocean views. This bedroom has a plush King size bed and a 45 inch Roku TV. The 4th bedroom is the bunkbed room which sleeps up to 6 (twinXL over twinXL and full over full bunks). These bunks were handcrafted and are able to accommodate adults and children alike. Enjoy the 14 games on the Pac Mania arcade and the 8 games of Marvel vs. Capcom. Get ready to enjoy these retro arcade games to their fullest for a night of family fun and entertainment, or perhaps friendly competition! BATHROOMS: The house has 2 full bathrooms located on each side of the house. Adjoining the 1st and 2nd bedroom is the first bathroom which has granite countertops and a frameless walk-in shower. Included in the shower is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The 2nd bathroom is located on the right side of the house, in the hall between the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. Containing a shower/tub combo, perfect for adults and little ones who enjoy baths. Also included is shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. LAUNDRY: The full-size washer and dryer is located in the 4th bedroom closet. OUTDOOR SPACE: The lower outdoor space includes a screened in patio containing a 7-person hot tub, a picnic table, and family games of Connect 4, Jenga, and Corn Hole. Just outside this screened-in porch are 2 four-person tables, 4 bar seats at the tiki style bar, and 3 old school rope swings for additional seating. Just behind this outdoor space is a large outdoor charcoal grill, perfect for grilling your meal for the whole family. An outdoor shower is also on the lower level for you to take a shower after a day on the beach. A foot wash station is at the base of the stairs to wash off those sandy feet before entering the house. Behind the outdoor shower is a fish cleaning station for all you fisherman. The upper deck is the perfect spot to relax and converse with your family and friends. There is a picnic table, 2 loungers and a 4-person bistro table. A wonderful porch swing adds to the charm of the house to enjoy the sea breeze and take in the views. The garage is also available to our guests and has 2 hammocks as well as some beach chairs to use. WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY "We had such a nice stay at the Sand Barr. We had a large group and we never felt cramped. We cooked all of our meals while we were there, and the house had everything we needed. The couches and beds were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to a nice stretch of the beach. The outdoor shower and deck filled with chairs and a swing were a favorite of the group, as were the collection of hammocks and beach chairs in the garage. Absolutely would stay here again, we had a great time." "This house was perfect for our beach getaway! We had two families, and it was very accommodating for us all. AREA ATTRACTIONS The peninsula has a lot to offer for your vacation. Guests can take their vehicles to the beach and hang out all day long or you can surf fish, bay fish, and even hire a fishing guide. For those that are more adventurous, you can parasail and paraglide over the ocean. The newest addition to the peninsula is the Bolivar Beach Club Resort (2 miles from the beach house) where you can purchase day passes to utilize the largest RV park pool in the country. This pool also has a swim up bar. It’s the perfect spot for families of all ages. WHAT TO BRING: We suggest you bring the following items: 1. Beach Towels 2. Extra toilet paper and paper towels (starter set is supplied) 3. Plenty of sunscreen 4. Charcoal and lighter fluid 4. Purchase a beach sticker to drive on the beach (available at the Big Store for $10) Guest access The entire house is available to the guests, including the front part of the garage as well as the deck and screened in porch. Other things to note You can walk to the beach from the neighborhood, but if you prefer to drive, you can! You can drive on the beach, but each car or golf cart needs a beach sticker which can be purchased at the Big Store for $10
