Goodman cabin @ Kokopelli Cabins is one of two cabins on the property. Brand new as of Feb. 2018. Come and enjoy Mesa Verde, Anasazi heritage center, Hovenweep National park and much much more! We have many outdoor activities such as fishing the lakes and river near by in the summer, bike trails, hiking trails. In the winter: Snowshoeing trails and so much more! Telluride, Durango, Rico, Ouray are all close for a day trip. Moab is even doable too to explore Arches National Park. Goodman Cabin is one of two cabins on the property. County living with style and comfort. A place to relax and enjoy what the area has to offer. 1 bedroom with a queen, a loft with 3 twin beds, a hideaway queen bed and a twin sofa bed. 1 bathroom with a walk in shower. Full kitchen and living area. Please let us know if we can provide anything during your stay. In the garage there are seat cushions for the outdoor seating, umbrella for table, bbq's, washers and dryers, etc. Garage that has two sets of full washers and dryers in it. Garage is not for vehicles. You are welcome to store your fishing poles, bikes, canoe, rafts, any "toys" that you bring along. There is a outdoor firepit for your use. Please be respectful of guests in other cabin. Both cabins on the property have their own firepits (new as of May 2022) We are easily available if needed. You will have an access code to get into the cabin. The code is changed every visit. The cabin is in a country setting, but still close to town. 6.3 miles to Cortez and 5.2 miles to Dolores. Grocery stores, restaurants and fun shops in both towns Bring your bikes, canoe, rafts, boats, winter months snowboard, ski (in Telluride and Purgatory) snow mobile, snowshoe, ice fish, etc. Feel free to reach out to us for helping you plan your trip to the Four Corners area. Cabins are within 5 miles to the lake, 6.3 miles to Cortez or 5.2 to Dolores. 15 miles to Mesa Verde. Anasazi heritage center is less than 5 miles away. Four corners monument, Durango (great day trip). Telluride, Rico, Silverton are all great day trips as well. We are very central to many great places. We have a cleaning lady that comes through each and every visit to do a deep clean from top to bottom for the cleanest, safest stay. We respectfully decline any animals on the property. We have two cabins on the property and not all guests are comfortable with animals and many have allergies. We also have many deer that hangout on the property, occasionally other wild life (bear, racoons, skunks, etc). This can become a problem with having other animals on the property. We appreciate you understanding and your cooperation with our request not to have animals. There are multiple wall heaters throughout the cabin for warmth (for the winter and sometimes spring weather). The AC unit is a large swamp cooler that cools the whole cabin down. If it is not cool, let us know right away. Sometimes a guest accidentally or sometimes even on purpose turns the "cooling off" it is huge and cools the cabin nicely. Since it can still freeze in Colorado into May. We do not get it out of winterizing mode until end of May/Beginning of June. In our area opening up some windows in the morning and evening and shutting them before it gets warm can cool the cabin down. If you have any questions. please contact us.
