Hugo´s House is a lovely renovated one bedroom ground floor home just three blocks from the town square and less than one from the waterfront! With a complete kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bath with shower, it also has an outdoor dining table under a palapa roof. Hugo´s House has a small fenced yard which allows us to rent to guests that bring a small pet, with previous arrangement only, please! There is also a plunge pool, a shared garden area, bicycles and kayaks for guest use. This casita has a plunge pool outside (like an unheated jacuzzi used during the summer months), outside covered dining off the complete kitchen and a small patio out back off the living room. Fully walled and secure compound with secure gate entry. Street parking is safe and ample, plus the owners have a locked parking area across the street. We have six options for rental on two adjacent properties: Geoff´s Apartment, Leslie´s Studio, Hugo´s House, the Garden Casita, the Garden Studio and the Vista Del Mar. All are very comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated, and all have wifi, cable tv, comfortable beds and quality linens. Our compound is completely enclosed, and has mature trees and a lovely tropical garden. Each unit is complete, but we also have outdoor eating and food preparation areas which guests often use for friendly get-togethers. This compound is an adult-oriented one. Children younger than 12 years old are not permitted. Our location is what makes these rentals so popular, one block up from the Sea and three blocks from the Town Square... everything is close by. Loreto is a safe, clean, and friendly town. The compound has beautiful gardens, an outside kitchen with barbeque and large dining table for guests. We have bicycles and kayaks for guest use. The owners and other guests are sometimes in residence, but the space is very quiet and private. Hugo's House is completely self contained and private with its own entry from street. Property Manager will be on-call during your stay. This property is in a Mexican neighbourhood of families where everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is not a commercial neighbourhood and is on a dead end street so does not have heavy traffic. It is an old neighbourhood with many palm, mango and large ficus trees. Many vendors still come round selling tacos, water, tamales and fruit in their radio cars. While we have no laundry facilities on site, there is a local door-to-door service here that most guests love to use! Easy walking distance from everything, taxi station 3 blocks away for further excursions, rent a car office 2 blocks away for cars by the day. The Hugo House is 1 block from the waterfront, 4 from the Marina and 4 from the center of town. There is a small mini mart with supplies across the street with the larger markets being in easy walking distance. Many restaurants are within easy walking distance along with shopping. There are kayaks and bicycles shared amongst the guests. Local boat captains are available for trips to the island or fishing. We have secure off-street parking for guests with autos.
