The space The Surf Shack has its own unique entrance through the driveway and privacy fence. The cottage has just been updated with a new kitchen, granite countertops, new microwave, vanity, painted inside and out, and a gas grill. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Full kitchen, fiberglass shower, outside hot and cold shower when you come back from the beach. Mini-split air conditioner, wall fan, stacked washer/dryer, FRONTIER Fios, high definition 40 inch smart TV and wireless internet. All services on the Internet are now streaming. SIESTA KEY HAS THE FREE TROLLIES THAT RUN FROM THE VILLAGE TO THE SOUTH END OF THE KEY THAT YOU CAN BOARD JUST UP THE STREET A FEW BLOCKS FROM THE COTTAGE. Enjoy my private dock to fish, crab, or launch a kayak. There is a ladder at the dock which is collapsible and will bring you down to the water level. At sunset, stroll up to the beach to watch the amazing sunsets every night, ESPECIALLY AT THE WEST END OF AVENIDA MESSINA IN THE VILLAGE. Go enjoy a huge cone at Big Olafs or oysters and a beer at Siesta Key Oyster Bar. My favorite is the clam chowder at Captain Curts near the south bridge. There are lots of great restaurants and shops all over the village. They are all just a short walk or quick ride by bike. There is outdoor patio furniture and a gas grill all under a huge oak tree. This is island living at its best. Other things to note I HAVE IN THE COTTAGE A PULL OUT FUTON THAT CAN ACCOMMODATE 1 MORE PERSON.
