We have taken great care to make this a comfortable and separate space but it is in the lower level of our house and you may hear us occasionally. Our primary use of the space directly above your apartment is in the evenings until 6 or 7pm. Guest access Street parking. There is flat paved access to the rear entry. The unit is five easy steps, with a handrail, down from the back yard. Other things to note My husband Dave and I live upstairs. In the summer months, we garden quite a bit and spend a lot of time out in the backyard, so you will likely see us from time to time. We have one cat who lives inside and outside. If given the chance, he will come in, but we would prefer that he stay outside, to keep pet allergens out of the space. **This listing (as mentioned in numerous places) is for 2 adults. Please don’t cause awkwardness by bringing undisclosed children, pets or additional people. We do reserve the right to cancel reservations based on dishonesty during the booking process. *Tips on cooling - Typically, it stays pretty cool inside (about 72 degrees when it’s upwards of 90 outside). The trick is to let cool air in during the evenings and closing the windows during the heat of the day. There is a fan in the linen closet if desired. Please don’t leave the front door open for extended periods for cooling. Being at garden level, bugs tend to wander in. **Please book directly. We do not accept 3rd party bookings. We rely on people’s personal reputations and rental history through this platform. **Bed - there is one bed in the apartment that fits 1-2 people. These are the only accommodations for sleeping that we offer. **Early check in/late check out: This may be available if there is not a guest checking out or in the day of your arrival/departure. The charge for this is 30% of your first nights fee. This will allow check in from 2pm on, or check out until 2pm. Please contact us to find out if this is available. During long term stays, bi weekly cleanings are required, and offered at no charge. * Parties, events and additional people - Parties and events are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This includes preparing large amounts of food to take to other events. We ask that visitors (outside of the maximum of 2 registered guests) be limited to 2.
