Built for the unwinding after a hard day on the mountain. The space Your spa: • New cedar sauna for a proper ski, hike, or bike recovery • Private hot tub right on the riverbank, mountain backdrop, and the sound of moving water you'll want to record and take home • Deep jetted soaking tub in the main bathroom • Walk-in glass shower The layout: The master suite has a new luxury king bed, private bedside gas fireplace, and en-suite bath with the jetted tub. Step out the bedroom door and the hot tub is right there. The main room sleeps two more on a queen bed with privacy curtains and direct access to the second full bath. A pull-out sleeper sofa adds flexibility. The gourmet kitchen has a Viking stove, breakfast bar, and a round table seating six. 50" TV with cable, fast wifi , and a second gas fireplace warming the great room. The whole apartment opens directly to the yard and the river. This was once the "Rooms on the River" at the historic Minturn Inn, now it's all yours. Guest access You have full private access to the entire ground-floor apartment via your own private entrance. The kitchen, both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the great room, and the hot tub are all yours. Our family of four lives in the completely separate upstairs unit, different entrance, different floor. You won't be sharing any space inside. The yard is technically shared, but our kids prefer the front for biking, so it's effectively yours. Please note, we'll occasionally use the sauna ourselves. Free parking for one car in the driveway. Free bus stop to Vail is a 3-minute walk. Other things to note A few things worth knowing: • Not wheelchair accessible. Honestly not even high-heel accessible. Boots recommended for the shoveled riverside path. There's a rope handrail, but you'll want to be sure-footed. • Non-smoking property. No pets, please. • 4 guests maximum. • Exterior security cameras in the driveway (none indoors or facing the riverside yard). • The hot tub and sauna are unfenced, please supervise children. The river runs fast in spring and early summer; worth keeping in mind with kids as well. • Stocked for comfort: Pack 'n Play with fitted sheet, iron + board, hair dryers in each bathroom, extra blankets, fan, and a picnic basket/backpack for day trips. Check-in after 4:00 PM, checkout before 11:00 AM.
