1850s Farmhouse close to Bretton Woods.

This farmhouse built in the 1850s is nestled past Franconia Notch in the town of Whitfield NH. This cozy 3 bed and 1.5 bath home is ready to welcome you for your vacation. During the winter, ski the slopes at mountains like Bretton Woods/Cannon or visit the extraordinary ice castles. During the spring/summer splash around at Whales Tales water park or visit Santas village amusement park. In fall admire the foliage and the covered bridges. Year round, take a stroll along Littleton’s Main st. The space A beautiful diamond in the rough! The farmhouse is centrally located between 3 mountains and 2 different amusement parks. Most of the original construction is present which gives this cozy home so much character! Enjoy sitting by the bar in the lounge area looking out of the stained glass picture window. The dining room can seat 8 comfortably whether eating or playing a board game. The three bedrooms upstairs are welcoming for you to rest your head after a long day out and about at the attractions. Guest access Guests can access whole house except the basement and small storage area off of the master bedroom. Other things to note While our house is throughly cleaned between guests, we allow pets at the house I cannot guarantee an allergen free space. In winter please expect ice and snow, the house is in the white mountains and temperatures are regularly below freezing the driveway may be slick. Do not park on the front yard you will crush the sewer line. Each bedroom has a window a/c unit (3 bedrooms, they only cool the bedrooms, please DO NOT remove the a/cs from bedrooms) installed at the end of May and removed mid September. The thermostat can be adjusted during your stay between 58 to 70 degrees heat only, it gets very hot upstairs because its one zone steam heat be mindful of this when using the rooms upstairs. We kindly ask that you do not open/close radiator valves, remove/troubleshoot or unplug (plugged in at the dining room between the two windows) the ecobee thermostat. The TV does not have cable it is equipped with a Fire stick for streaming, Sling tv and Hulu are the streaming services used. The garage is also for guests to use (large trucks and suvs do not fit.) The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender and crockpot. The upstairs bathroom has a shampoo/body wash in 1 dispenser with the towels and facecloths located in the linen closet. There are extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms and extra blankets downstairs in the living room. In winter the house experiences many inches of snow, the drive way is snow plowed but snow falls from the metal roof leaving large piles of snow on the property. Due to this the garage might not be useable during your stay in winter and snow shoveling might be necessary, also please be careful of slippery spots and falling ice/snow from the metal roof.
