Luxurious Victorian villa with parking, sleeps six

We hope you have a fantastic stay at our beautiful and newly refurbished Victorian villa, built in 1899 and just two minutes walk from Bury St Edmunds railway station. You'll have the entire property to yourself, which has off road parking for two cars. Whether it be for work or travel, the property has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, whether for a weekend break or a longer term vacation. The space The property has recently undergone a full refurbishment and redecoration throughout, and is luxurious and roomy, with a private rear garden. Stylishly furnished, there is a large and well equipped open plan kitchen and dining area. Facilities include oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. There is a Nespresso coffee machine and a welcome tray of biscuits, coffee pods/tea, milk and sugar provided for new guests on arrival. The dining area has a large Neptune oak dining table and 6 comfortable chairs, as well as a large bookcase with a choice of books available for guests. There is a cosy lounge with 50" Smart TV (allowing easy sign in to your Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts, BBC IPlayer etc), as well as super fast broadband / Wi-Fi for your convenience. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, as well as a large Victorian style family bathroom comprising roll top bath, pedestal sink, and monsoon shower. Towels and toiletries are provided. **Please note there is a step down into the bathroom** The master bedroom has a lovely king size bed with a luxury mattress and choice of soft/hard pillows. The second bedroom has a double bed. Both have smart TVs and are stylishly furnished. Off the dining area there is a doorway leading down to a bright and airy converted cellar which is our cinema room / bedroom 3. There is a new 55” wall mounted smart TV and corner sofa which converts to a double bed, giving a third bedroom if required. Externally there is off road parking at the front of the property which can accommodate two cars, and a secure rear garden with patio/terrace area, and table and chairs for guest use in good weather. The property is fully equipped with everything you need and suitable for both longer stays or weekend breaks. I look forward to welcoming you soon! Guest access The property is very easily accessed from Bury St. Edmunds railway station (two minute walk), and just off the A14 for quick access by road. With off road parking on site (there is a private driveway for 2 vehicles), the property is perfect for exploring Bury St Edmunds (it is only 10 minutes walk into the town centre, medieval grid and Abbey Gardens), and Suffolk as a whole. Other things to note Cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if you have to cancel more than 30 days prior to your booking, any booking cancelled within 30 days of travel is non refundable - for this reason I'd suggest you have travel insurance in place in the event you can't make it - The Post Office offer good value travel insurance Ring doorbell: please note although it says “camera/recording device” this is just a ring doorbell at the front of the property. This is only to cover the driveway/parking area - there are NO recording devices within the property itself. We DO NOT allow any extra guests and the maximum number we can allow is 6 people in total. If there are any undeclared guests, we will charge £75pp and reserve the right to cancel your booking. There is space on the drive for 2 cars only, due to the space and close proximity to neighbours.
