Inside, Villa Akti Barbati 3 is set over one floor and is accessed via a set of steps from the private parking area. The modern interiors have been finished with great taste and style, to provide a superior holiday experience. There is a spacious lounge with adjoining kitchen and dining area. Beautifully furnished in Mediterranean colors, the lounge has a satellite TV, wi-fi internet connection, comfortable sofa (that can be turned into a bed for a 3rd guest), and patio doors opening onto spacious sea-facing terraces providing beautiful views. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, perfect for the preparation of meals of any kind. There is also a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with shower next to it. For the comfort of our guests, the villa is air-conditioned (included in the rental price) and all the rooms have sea-views. If the indoor areas of the villa are amazing, the pool patio will leave our guests speechless: views, design, relaxation, greenery! The generously sized private pool (5.5m x 3.5m, depth 1.7m, lit at night), has comfortable sunbeds as well as a stunning gazebo next to it. The front shaded dining area (sea-facing) is equipped with bbq as well and is the perfect spot for al-fresco dining while enjoying the breathtaking views. The poolside patio and the garden provide beautiful views over the resort of Barbati and the turquoise sea, stretching from Corfu Town up to Albanian mainland in the distance. Private parking for. car is also available on the premises. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes everything, and no extras are required locally. Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of hand/bath towels twice a week and change of bed linen once a week are included in the rental rates. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
