Spectacular Abiquiu Ranch on the Chama River

This is a gorgeous house perched above the Chama river on 22 stunning acres in the heart of Abiquiu. Rancho Los Milagros has flower and vegetable gardens, fruit trees, an old growth "bosque," direct river access, and beautiful views. It is a magical spot for relaxation, renewal, and exploration any time of the year! The space The house marries old New Mexico charm--deep set windows, kiva fireplaces, antique and tribal furnishings, and original artworks--with modern comforts and conveniences throughout, including satellite internet. The house is spaciously laid out with large and lovely living and dining room areas, a fully stocked kitchen, an adjacent game playing area, a wonderful screened sunroom, and a laundry and mud room. There are three large bedrooms at one end of the house and two additional bedrooms at the other end. The three bedrooms in the first end of the house each come with a private bathroom. Two of these bedrooms have king beds (convertible to 4 single beds upon request), the third bedroom has a queen bed. The second wing of the house includes a bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, a large shared bathroom, a common area with a wood-burning stove and queen size pull-out sofa bed, and two semi-private porch areas. With an additional air mattress (available upon request) the house readily accommodates 2 to 13 people in various configurations. Providing spaciousness and privacy while also allowing for connection and intimacy, it is equally as lovely for a couple as it is for a large group,. The house and property are stunning year round. The house's deep walls, ceiling fans and cool Abiquiu nights make for lovely sleeping temperatures during summer months. During the winter, radiant floor heat and several fire places keep the house warm and cozy. The garden areas adjacent to the house include an outdoor fire pit, barbecue, lawn furniture, seasonal grape arbor, herb and flower gardens, and fruit trees. A beautiful woods leads to direct river access on the far side of the property. NOTE: Larger group gatherings and events, As well as professional photography and filming, are allowed at the ranch but are subject to different rates and rules. Also, under certain circumstances, weekend and shorter stays can be arranged. Ranch animals Pepe, Rosy, Paddy and Black Berry, as well as barn cats Noche and Dia, like to convene with guests over the fence. Guest access to barn, outbuilding, corral, and pasture areas, however, is prohibited for safety reasons. Other things to note Discounts: Weekly and reduced rates are available for longer stays. Currents can be strong and we cannot vouch for the safety of playing in the river.
