Villa Asteri - Historic Cretan Elegance

The space Villa Asteri is a two-level mansion that was built in 1955, with interiors of traditional elegance paired up with modern day functionality. Τhe exteriors promise leisure and relaxation without restrictions. The initial stone build was used as a family manor and carpentry workshop. In the ground floor of Villa Asteri there is a large common living room with hand –made wooden sofas, fireplace, big dining table and fully equipped modern kitchen, as well as two bedrooms with two big bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor which is accessed by an interior staircase, and they all have their own private WC. On the west side upstairs there is a large veranda with a dining table and a breathtaking view to the village and the sea. The outdoor area of the villa is surrounded by trees (cypresses, orange trees) and a variety of bushes offering total privacy and peace. The swimming pool is located on the west side of the villa, which is ideal to sunbathe all day lying on the comfortable sun beds and umbrellas. By the pool there is a wooden pergola and a mulberry tree that offer a nice shade to the barbecue area with the grill, the wood-fired oven and an 8-person wooden table. Guest access The Villa is very easy to access.It is right at the entrance of Asteri Village. The distance from Iraklion Airport is 72 km and from Chania Airport is 77 km. and it takes approximately 50 min. up to 1 hour and 10 min.to reach, by car. Asteri village is an ideal starting point for excursions around the island, as it is very close to the national highway that leads to the beautiful beaches and sightseeings of the island of Crete.
