Located 5 minutes from RT 15, 15 minutes from Roundtop, 1/2 hour from Gettysburg, Carlisle, Harrisburg, Hershey, and the Farm Show. PA Dutch Country is 45 minutes away. The space The house is about 5 minutes off Route 15 and about a 1/2 hour to Gettysburg and in the other direction to HERSHEY. PA Dutch Country is about 45 minutes away, 15 minutes to Roundtop Mountain Resort, 20 minutes to Pinchot National Park, and the same to downtown Harrisburg. You will find plenty to do in all seasons. It is close to Messiah College, Dickenson College, Carlisle, and Pinchot National Park. The house sleeps 12 and there are 10 separate beds: The two master suites have a king and a queen bed respectively and ensuite baths. There is a large deck for you to enjoy in warm months and it has a glider, chairs, cocktail table, a dining table, and a propane grill. In addition, we have a propane fire pit table on the deck to warm you on cool autumn nights. If you prefer to stay inside, you can gather near the propane fireplace. In the open kitchen, you will find everything you need to make a gourmet meal (the Giant grocery store is 5 minutes away) including china for a fancy meal or use the everyday dinnerware or the outdoor place settings. Our large dining table is surrounded by 10 chairs and there is additional seating with our dining benches. We have stayed in short-term rentals before and we have been very disappointed in the lack of small things like matching towels, glasses/china, and nice cotton sheets. In this house, you will find everything as you would have it in your own home. However, you WILL NOT find our clothes in the closets, knick-knacks from past vacations to the shore, or the like. This is NOT our home. It is a vacation rental. About 99 percent of the furnishings including furniture, linens, towels, dishes, cookware, etc. were bought for the house when we started hosting and things are being replaced on an as-needed basis. We love the clean, uncluttered look of Maison SAB and we think you'll appreciate not feeling like you are intruding in someone else's home. Take your coffee in the sunroom and watch the birds in the large yard. Off that room is the deck with lots of seating, a dining table, a propane grill, and a beautiful view of the backyard. At the end of the big yard, there is a stream that is small enough to jump across but big enough to float a toy boat or just listen to the swoosh of the water passing by.
