Situated just steps from your own private ski lift, Sun Dog Lodge is the ideal vacation home to park your car, drop your bags, and hit the slopes. Our ski in/out condo is in the Aspen building of the Lodges development and the closest you can get to the Sunrise lift and Sports Center. It is on the third floor so it is up one flight of steps but you'll be greeted by the silence of a top floor retreat. This ski in/ski out end unit features three big bedrooms, three full ensuite baths and all on one floor to easily accommodates up to 8 people. The high-end decor includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, tons of natural light, a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, a huge entry mudroom to store all your equipment, and awesome views of the slopes. This is a child/baby friendly unit with a pack and play and portable tri-fold mattress with plenty of kid-friendly crockery. We also have an adjustable standing desk you can use to clear the inbox if you're coming for more than a weekend. The master bedroom suite has a king bed and its own full bathroom featuring a two-person jetted tub. The second bedroom includes a full bed and a single bed and has its own full bathroom as well. The third bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4 - they are adult friendly with integrated ladders. The Sunrise complex boasts a Sports Center directly next to Sun Dog Lodge, complete with indoor heated pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and private fitness center season-round and an outdoor pool in the summer months for Sunrise owners and guests. Access comes free with your stay. For those who don't ski or board, Sunrise offers a number of winter activities including snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, ice skating and outdoor fire pit for smores and hot chocolate. The unit is about a 10 minute drive from the restaurants and bars located on the Killington Access Road, but Sunrise Bar and Grill is located in the Sports Center and is open on weekends throughout the ski season.
