Black Bear Holler Cabin/Cozy Rustic Hideaway

Our cozy rustic cabin is located in beautiful Murphy, NC. Sleep on our comfortable Amish queen bed with luxurious sheets. We are within an hour of the beautiful Nantahala National Forest & the Cherahola Skyway. If you are a motorcyclist, hiker, or white water rafter you will be in heaven here. There are some amazing wineries, craft breweries, and boutique shops nearby. Nearby on Lake Hiawassee or Lake Blue Ridge, you can go on a pontoon rentals, paddle boarding or just enjoying a swim. The space The Bunkhouse cabin has an Amish queen bed with a full-size futon bed, we have fiber optic internet (WIFI) so you can watch your favorite TV internet service and to keep in touch with the outside world on WIFI calling. The kitchenette provides a comfortable dining area with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bathroom has a full tub with shower, luxurious towels, and toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, soap & body lotion are provided. We are a 21+ property. The property is not child friendly and the cabin is not child proof. We are a perfect combination of glamping and a rustic cabin with some hotel amenities. Guest access The Bunkhouse has full privacy and you will have hot tub access at the main cabin which is a short one minute walk. The hot tub is semi-private and shared with the main cabin which the property owners/family members use only. just let us know when you are using it and you will have privacy. Other things to note We have a strict Pet Policy, Dogs only. Registered Service Dogs are welcome at no cost. Emotional Support, Therapy, or Comfort Animals are considered pets and will be subject to a pet security deposit of $300 at this ne of check-in with no exceptions. (Refundable provided no damage.) We require a kennel/crate for when you leave your dog unattended in the cabin. (If your dog is found out of the crate while you are not there, your security deposit will be forfeited.) We offer pet-sitting for $5 per pet/per hour. Pee pads are absolutely not permitted under any circumstances. We collect a $300 refundable security deposit and it will be refunded within 7 days of check out provided there isn’t any damage caused by your pets. Any damages (pee, poop or vomit stains/chewing/scratching) will be charged according to the damage as the entire cabin consists of real wood furniture. Any existing damage if any must be declared at check in so you are not held responsible. We however do not have a size, breed or quantity restriction. Well behaved and/or trained animals are permitted off leash on property, all others must be kept leashed at all times as there are dogs on the property. Please bring poop bags to clean up in areas that require cleanup or you can pay an additional $50-$100 dependent on length of stay for us to clean up after you. Pets also may be restricted from staying on property during winter stays, please check with us. We apologize for the strict pet policy but the few have ruined it for the many.
