Two bedrooms plus a bright sunroom with a bed offer flexible sleeping space, while the furnished lower level provides a second living room and workspace. Fully furnished and equipped for extended stays, with a fenced, chemical-free backyard and pet-friendly comfort. The space Life at Red Maple Retreat Red Maple Retreat is thoughtfully equipped for comfortable day-to-day living. Guests enjoy ultra-fast Wi-Fi, a 42" flat-screen television with 145-channel cable, and a collection of books, magazines, and puzzles for relaxed evenings at home. For those who enjoy quiet reflection or movement, the home includes a peaceful space suitable for meditation, yoga, or a light workout. A fully equipped laundry area with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board makes longer stays easy and convenient. The house is equipped with an attached garage and breezeway for added convenience during Michigan winters. For outings, a picnic cooler is available for trips to nearby parks, lakes, and local adventures. And of course, there are many other small touches designed to help guests feel settled and at home. ~ The Neighborhood ~ The Red Maple Retreat is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Milford, offering the comfort of a peaceful setting while still being close to everyday conveniences. Grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and the charming shops, cafés, and restaurants of downtown Milford are just a short walk away. Many guests tell us the neighborhood quickly begins to feel like home. For guests settling in for several weeks or months, the area offers a welcoming balance of calm surroundings and convenient access to daily life. ~ The Surroundings ~ Green space surrounds the village of Milford, offering abundant opportunities for hiking, walking, biking, kayaking, and canoeing, making it easy to enjoy time outdoors during your stay. ~ House Guidelines ~ Red Maple Retreat is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the house, breezeway, or garage. ~ 4-Legged Guests ~ This is a pet-friendly home. Small, well-behaved dogs may be accepted with host approval and an additional pet fee. ~ Availability ~ Now accepting applications for March 2026 occupancy. The monthly rate of $5,300 applies to a 12-month lease. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home and attached garage during your stay, except for the lower-level rooms marked “Private.” For easy entry, you'll receive a private passcode for the electronic keypads on both the front door and the garage door, along with a garage door opener. Other things to note A few important notes before booking: Red Maple Retreat is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is best suited for guests seeking a calm, comfortable place to settle in during longer stays or times of transition. Length of Stay Red Maple Retreat is designed for extended stays. A 30-night minimum applies. Pets We welcome up to two small, well-behaved dogs with prior approval. For approved pets, a fee of $500 for the first dog and $300 for the second applies per stay. Before pets are approved, guests will be asked to review our Pet Addendum, which outlines expectations for our four-legged guests, so you can confirm the guidelines work for you and your pet. The fully-fenced backyard and chemical-free lawn are especially appreciated by guests traveling with dogs. Taxes and Cleaning Local taxes and cleaning fees are additional and will be reflected in your reservation total. Guest Agreement To ensure everyone shares the same expectations, guests are asked to complete a simple electronic Guest Agreement before arrival. This outlines the basic terms of your stay and helps everything run smoothly for both guests and host. We are also happy to coordinate with insurance adjusters or relocation coordinators to help make longer stays as smooth as possible.
