Look no further for your clean, dream vacation home on a canal and only 5 min walk to the beach. Location, location, location it's everything. Whether your preference is to be just steps away from the white sands of Cocoa Beach and all the oceanside wonders or to enjoy the comforts of your own luxurious backyard, either one will ensure a vacation to remember. This homes screened Florida room with access from 4 patio door is fully furnished for dining and entertaining overlooking your pool. Location is everything when traveling. Our home uniquely located on a canal accessing the Banana River Estuary and only a short walk to the beach. You get privacy and a quite neighborhood with no high rise towers to look at but still close the beautiful beach in Cocoa Beach. Guest have access to the entire home and yard. Please do not change or alter and timers or controller with in the residence. No vehicle access is available to the attached garage. Host can be reached by phone or email which will be disclosed by website when reservation is booked. Things To Know - Medical services are available at the Urgent Care Center north on A1A, left on Hwy 520 located in strip mall on right hand side across from the Dinosaur Store. Pharmacies a such as CVS and Walgreens are located on the Intersection of A1A and 520. - Emergency hospital services are available on Hwy 520, ½ mile west of the A1A intersection - DVD player set on HDMI 1 input on Phillips 55” 4K LCD TV, use system on/off button to turn on-off the TV and Cable Box - Kids TV, use Select button on controller to switch from cable, DVD, Game stations - Swimming in the Canal is not recommended - Household Cleaning products are located in the Pool side Bedroom. - Shuttle/Rocket launches are visible from front yard looking north, across street and to right 30 degrees. - Highest surf is 2 hours before or after high and low tides. Surfing lessons available at Ron Jon’s. - Hurricane evacuation route - A1A highway north then Hwy 520 or Hwy 528 - Closest grocery store – Plublix north on A1A (left out of Jamaica Drive) - Closest hardware store – ACE, south on A1A (right out of Jamaica Drive) - Downtown Cocoa Beach – south on A1A, where Hwy divides (right out of Jamaica Drive) - Lawn service – usually on Thursday/Fridays - Sprinklers -come on in the morning - Pool Service - usually on Thursday/Friday or weekend - Cocoa Beach Pier is located north on A1A highway, turn right on Meade Ave - Garbage Service: Tuesdays and Fridays Mornings (7-9 AM)  Bring out Black Garbage Can to the street/curb the night before  Bring out Green recycle Can to the street/curb the night before Things To Know - Area Wild Life: Manatee in canal – usually in mornings in canal, more prevalent in summer months Dolphins in Canal – usually in mornings in canal, prevalent in summer/winter months Heron – Tall grey/blue bird, name Howard, eats meat White Ibis – White birds with curved beak, eat bugs in grass Gecko – small lizards, patchy colour, short tail, run funny Anole – small lizard, long tail, even colour, everywhere, males throat fan Cormorant–black bird, dives underwater Anhinga-black with white shoulders feathers, long neck, female brown back Mourning Dove-lots, coo in the morning Snakes – Black (Rat Snake), eat bugs/anoles/mice, everywhere -Red, Dangerous, avoid Noseems – biting insects outdoors in evenings and early morning, grass sprayed Fish – Lots, sea trout, sting ray, mullet, red fish, sheephead, jack caravel, snook and catfish, fishermen’s choice, summer tarpon. Fish off dock using shrimp, bait fish, DOA or spoons. When Dolphins come through canal fishing will drop off. Alligators –have been spotted in open water at end of canal, rare Pelican – everywhere, dive for fish Vulture- can see both Turkey and Black type Osprey- hunt fish, sit in tall trees Eastern Screech Owl- Small Owl, can hear in evening/night. Things To Know - Wildlife viewing in Banana River from end of canals at end of Bahama Blvd (one street south) or end of Banana River Drive (2 streets north). - Do not lock front door with bottom lock. ONLY use dead bolt with code. To open, press Schleger button then enter the 4 digit code. Dead bolt will activate and you can rotate the handle to open. To close, press Schleger button and rotate handle to close. NO code is required to close. - To Help Your Enjoy Your Stay, Please Ensure: Your children are supervised at all time at the backyard pool and canal. Do not take shower and baths when you have sand on body. Rinse off hose is located at the west side of the house. Ensure hose is turned off after use. DO NOT CLOSE RED HANDLE VALVE ON 2” WHITE PIPE BEHIND BBQ. THAT IS THE IRRIGATION WATER IT IS NOT POTTABLE WATER. Do not wash towels and clothes that have sand on them. Let towels dry and shake off all loose sand prior to washing. For safety reasons, glassware is prohibited on poll deck or dock area. This poses serious risk for yourself and other vacationers as broken glass in the pool in impossible to remove and very expensive to have rectified. Plastic glassware and plates are available for your use in these areas. Any garbage, soda cans or other items are not left on the dock as they may fall into the canal and cause harm to the animals. All vacationers should dry off before entering the carpeted and /or tile areas of the house as chlorine from the pool damages the carpet. While slipping is a hazard on tile. Please ensure the BQQ is shut-off after use. Towels with patterns are used for pool/beach areas. Solid color towels are used for bathroom use. Ensure no electrical items/devices are brought to the pool area.
