Magical get-away set in Vermont’s countryside. An abundance of windows to enjoy endless views of the farm’s pastures, rolling hills, stone walls, & White Mountains. Bring your pups and soak in nature while hiking endless trails on the 180-acre property. The décor & furnishings: antiques, local art and comfortable. From sunrise to sunset, you’ll see the colors change as the clouds roll by. We also have a small one room cabin available, listed as Cabin Hill on Taplin Hill Farm. No Pet Fees! The barn apartment is located on the top of a hill with amazing views. Taplin Hill Farm is super pet friendly. We are dog lovers ourselves and there is nothing like seeing your furry friends run off leash through the woods and pastures. We encourage our guests to bring them. We travel everywhere with our dogs, Oakley and Peanut and we realize that trips are just not the same without them. This barn-house was built with serenity in mind. There is a large, covered patio with table/chairs and BBQ grill that’s a perfect spot for morning coffee/tea, afternoon cocktails and just outside the covered porch Adirondack chairs for stargazing at night. Wrap yourself a snuggly blanket (we provide) for cooler mornings and nights. There are two private office spaces, one office space upstairs and a larger office downstairs that also includes a large comfortable bench for relaxing and taking in the views through two large windows. Walk out of the barn-home and you’ll discover endless trails. You can hike woods filled with sugar maples and white birch trees, cross streams, forage mushrooms, see endless stone walls and get lost in nature’s wonderland. You will also have full access to the 180-acre farm where you can explore the rolling hills and pastures dotted with Scottish Highland cows and horses and walk along a mile long road while taking a break at the various lookout points to sit in Adirondack chairs throughout the farm. And grab some fresh eggs from the chicken coop. There is a pond with a dock and picnic table that is perfect for swimming for humans and their furry friends. A great spot for a picnic and to soak up sun. Amazing views throughout the 180 acre farm with endless wooded hiking trails, pond and pastures! Owners share time on the farm with van life and traveling the globe. Farm manager lives nearby. 8 miles from Bradford, one hour from Stowe, one hour from Woodstock and 30 minutes from Hanover, NH home of Dartmouth College. Well maintained road along pastures and woods taking in amazing scenery, pastures and mountain views. Plenty of easy parking. The living space is on the second floor accessed by a well-lighted stairwell with scenic artwork. Please plan accordingly.
