Narrow winding streets and a network of steps connect the hillside community known as the South Side Slopes. Graced with spectacular views of the city, a low crime rate and an abundance of green space, the Slopes are only minutes from Downtown, Oakland, and historic Carson Street. Wind down to the bottom of the hill and you are in the Southside flats with endless amounts of bars and restaurants and shopping. Most guests take Uber/Lyft to events. There are multiple stair systems that go from the top of the Southside slopes to the bottom.
