Watch the cows graze across the street from the comfort of the warm living area while sipping coffee or a glass of local wine. Snuggle up on the couch with a good book or great company. We have now added a game room in the garage. Access is available upon request!. The room includes a 3 in 1 game table, electronic basketball game and kids crafts. Guests can hike the Powerhouse trail to Carter Falls, head into America's Favorite Small Town of Elkin or visit any of the 15 vineyards & wineries within a 15 minute drive. If you're looking for longer hikes, Stone Mountain State Park is 20 minutes away and the Blue Ridge parkway is 30 minutes. We will gladly provide hiking, dining and vineyard recommendations and itineraries upon request. You might see or encounter wildlife while on our property or neighborhood, including, but not limited to: deer, raccoon, skunk, opossum, fox, reptiles, many kinds of birds, bees, wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, ants. These creatures reside in nature and we have little control over them. You will feel as though you are miles away from it all, but just minutes to everything!
