This fully-equipped home features three bedrooms, three and half baths and a loft with a sleeper sofa. The main floor includes, fully equipped kitchen with panoramic eat-in table area, Keruig K Duo, use ground coffee or K-Cups pods, dining room and living room with premium furniture, TV and fireplace. This home has an easy entry for guests that have problems with stairs. Follow the beautiful stone wall down a fully paved driveway and park in our double car garage. A single step from garage into home gets you onto the main floor where the master bedroom, kitchen, living area and main deck are located. The large master bedroom is on the main floor and includes a king bed, a private bathroom with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and double sinks. The second floor loft includes a sitting area with pull out sofa, a full bathroom with shower tub and a second bedroom with queen bed that has its own private balcony. A beautiful downstairs area includes a third bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath with a shower tub, and a game room that has something for every guest including a 55" Smart TV, billiard table an energetic foosball table, and a card table. Enjoy watching movies or playing board games in the sitting area or playing card games on the game table next to the fire. Wireless High Speed Internet is reliable throughout the entire cabin! The cabin has a dishwasher, central heat & air, washer & dryer, fireplaces (gas logs), microwave, TV programming and spacious double garage. It is fully equipped, including clean sheets and towels. The cabin is furnished with a “Starter Package”, which contains one of each: paper towels, toilet paper, trash liners, bar soap, laundry detergent, dish liquid and dishwasher powder. Pet Friendly: Pet Fee $100 only 1 small dog less than 20 pounds allowed (no cats). CLEAN HEALTHY AIR. It’s common to find toxic radon gas in mountain cabins. However, Sky Cabin is equipped with a radon gas emitter as well as a vapor barrier under the basement flooring to prevent such mountain gases from entering the cabin. Guest access As soon as you come off the main (valley) road onto the beautiful Gaddis Branch Rd, you will see the Smoky Mountain Retreat (SMR) Rental Office to your right. This is where you will check-in, receive your keys, garage box, and gate access code. The Rental Office is on-site and open from 10am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday. The cabin owners are also available by phone outside these hours. After hour check-in is also available. Once check-in is complete, simply make a right out of the office and head up the paved mountain to Sky Cabin. As you enter this 1,000 acre beautifully gated community, you will be greeted by cascading streams, a picnic area and large playground, all accessible to our guests. Follow the running stream up the mountain and to the cabin. Sky Cabin is located about 7 minutes up the mountain from the Rental Office. Here is a select offering. 15 Minutes Away: Located within 15 minutes are the historic Downtown Waynesville, scenic Blueridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tony's Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle museum, as featured on History Channels "American Pickers"), Ingles Grocery Store, Publix, Walmart, and several great Restaurants. 30 Minutes Away: Within 30 minutes are Asheville and the Biltmore Estates & Winery, several local micro breweries, Cherokee, Harrah's Casino, Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and "Polar Express" during the Christmas Holiday), Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops. 45 Minutes Away: Also, within 45 min from Hendersonville where you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with enormous dining Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, ziplining and much more. 1 Hour Away: Just under 1 hr of Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).
