At the end of a nearly direct route on Highway 26 from Portland, it’s not hard to reach for even a day trip on the North Coast. Spanning the Necanicum River, Seaside’s Broadway Street features unique restaurants, pubs, and cafes and ends at the beachfront promenade. Down on the beach, enjoy kayaking, hiking, razor clamming, and kite flying: there’s enough space that you’ll rarely feel crowded. The Mermaids Song Beach House sits on a quiet street where the ocean and the river meet. We are less than a full block from the beach with two access areas and nestled between the BEST clamming, crabbing and fishing location. It's a quiet area away from the bustling crowds in summer, but still so close to everything Seaside has to offer. Just a short stroll or bike ride to the prom. It's perfect for feeling like you have a private beach and the Mermaid's vibe is SUPREME! She seems petite but she holds in her lair a 4 bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, 1 block from the Ocean and 1 block from the River, where the two meet (Estuary), in Seaside Oregon. With an array of sleeping arrangements and the ability to separate adults and children, cozy up to the fire or just sit on the front porch with a book as the kids play corn hole on the lawn. Watch the sunset in all it's beautiful glow. Take the wagon and head a short block to the beach with the many sand toys and equipment. Meander around on our bikes...whatever you like! Just a few short blocks away there is a City Park across from the 12th street bridge, where you can try your luck with our crab cages or rent a bike fit for the entire family or start your stroll on the prom. The Necanicum River comes in and out with the tide, which is perfect for fishing, kayaking, clamming or beach combing. Walk to the prom, shop the outlets, take a short drive to Astoria, Cannon Beach or Manzanita. Try your luck fishing for salmon in the Necanicum behind the house, down 17th street and you run right into the Estuary ...maybe even spot some local ELK. The digital access information is shared before your stay and after all forms have been received. You will have access to the house, garage and exterior of the property. There is parking for 4 vehicles behind the house on 17th street and in front of the garage. We are not afforded on street parking by Seaside City Ordinance. No RV, Boat or Commercial vehicle parking on or near the property. Our mission is to provide unique and memorable experiences for everyone, especially are tiniest guests. Otherwise, we do not interfere with you physically during your stay. A key code is provided for you to access the home. That being said several members of our team are less than 5 minutes away and will respond immediately to any situation. Our goal is to create an amazing stay for our guests as well as our neighbors. The home is located in a neighborhood with upscale and quaint homes and no condos or motels. Close in proximity are the Seaside Outlet stores, movie cinemas, restaurants, fishing, and more Parking is very restrictive. Our home has 4 spot Maximum on site with No On Street Parking. Transportation is limited. Uber and Lyft do not service the North Oregon Coast. There is a taxi service but a car is suggested for getting around from town to town. Within the town, everything is pretty walk-able or accessible by bike. We go through great lengths to welcome you with all the amenities we enjoy personally. We require guests to visit our secure guest screening portal for identity verification and fraud protection before their reservation is considered finalized. *This beach house is available as a vacation rental by virtue of a permit issued by The City Of Seaside, Oregon. This permit is placed in jeopardy when the surrounding neighborhood is impacted by a guest's stay. We ask that you read the rules and treat our home, the house rules and the laws that govern us with respect so we can continue to provide a wonderful stay for years to come. You play a part in the magic by providing us details on your family, friends and what you are looking forward to the most while here in the Pacific North West. -We issue $250.00 fines for each violation of City Ordinances and each House Rule. -We evict guests for violations without refund (This posting is the only warning) and if actions of our guests lead to our permit being placed on probation or revocation we hold violators responsible for all damages foreseen and unforeseen. -Minimum age requirement: 25 -Maximum Occupancy (in or outside) is 10 (infants and children count as 1) -We Use Surveillance cameras outside the property and they record 24/7. There are absolutely no cameras inside the property. -NO PARTIES - DO NOT RENT OUR HOME ON BEHALF OF OTHERS *The person who booked must be staying with their guests and arrive with or before their guests. -NO SMOKING* NO VAPING* -NO DRUGS (Not on or near the property) -NO Animals* Our children are allergic -FOUR CARS MAXIMUM * AT ALL TIMES* DRIVEWAY ONLY* -We Do Not Have On Street Parking! -NO Noise from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am -NO SHOES WORN INSIDE -Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions or birthdays must be disclosed at the time the reservation is booked and is subject to owner approval. -It is appreciated when you: start your towels, beach towels, and beach blankets, start your dishes, clean the grill and empty the grease trap, remove your items from the house refrigerator and garage freezer, recycle appropriately, put games away and sports equipment back where it was found, and shake and rinse out sand from toys before you check out. -Wine Pulls from the rack are $30.00 each and proceeds go to Everyone For The North Oregon Coast, unless one is left on the table complimentary.
