In villa Cal Pesolet you can eat breakfast seeing a wonderful panorama from the fields up to the valley. Imagine taking a refreshing bath in the open-air pool while having a spectacular view of the mountains. A place to listen the silence. No cars, no traffic. Only the noise of cocks or woodpeckers can break the silence in villa Cal Pesolet. Be prepared! Here, environment-friendly holidays. In 2014 we left the fossil fuel energies. With a new deck insulation, solar panels, a biomass boiler and a chlorine free pool we are minimizing the ecological footprint of villa Cal Pesolet. After installing an electrical charge point, you can recharge at the house your electric vehicle. It is a perfect basecamp to discover the Pyrenees. Surrounded by three-thousander mountains, and with the widest valley in the Pyrenees, it’s a great starting point for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, horse riding and skiing. You can reach most of the peaks just walking in summer, without ice or snow in the trails. In winter we practice ski in more than 20 ski stations around the valley. We are professionals of ski, hike, horse and bike guidance. We would love to help you to discover the Cerdanya valley. Experience the fact of living in a historic country cottage of the Pyrenees! Cal Pesolet is documented since the 18th century. We infer that the house was built in three stages. It was likely abandoned in the seventies, although the roof remains standing. It is oriented towards the south, where it has a big façade with the different entries and windows. The northern walls, with practically no overtures, remain protected as they are half below ground because of the land incline. It presents the typical structure of farming and ranching houses: a ground floor with the former stables and cow sheds, a first floor and a second one for the dwelling. Currently we keep the stonewalls (40 cm wide) and the roof, but we have adapted the inside distribution. Guest access You will have full access of everything in the villa. The pool, yard, porch, patio and house are completely to yourselves. We accept pets, up to a maximum of 3, with a supplement of € 10 / animal / night to be paid in cash at the house. The house has 3 floors, each of 100m2, and 3 triple suite-type rooms, with a bathroom inside the room, distributed as follows: Ground Floor: kitchen and dining room - living room with fireplace. First Floor: 1 Triple Suite Room (double queen size bed + 1 single bed) + 1 Quadruple Suite Room (2 single beds + 1 bunk bed with 2 beds of 2m x 90cm). Second Floor: 1 Reading & Games Room (with a 1'40m x 2m double sofa-bed) + 1 Triple Suite Room (double king size bed + 1 single bed). The 3 suite rooms have a bathroom inside. In the reading room there is a sofa bed, to reach the 12 beds. We also have travel cots for children under 2 years old. Other things to note We accept pets, up to a maximum of 3, with a supplement of € 10 / animal / night to be paid in cash at the house. Free WIFI - laundry and bath products. As well as firewood for the barbacue and fireplace. Breakfast, lunch or dinner service can be provided. Let us know if you would like them.
