The Aldernest Loft (upstairs apt in duplex) is just the way we want our own private getaway to be w/braided wool rugs, wicker furniture, 2 skylights, 2 carpeted bedrooms, one bath & fully equipped kitchen. Heat and air conditioning provided w/reverse cycle heat pump. Washer/dryer. Wifi using 200 Mbs Spectrum Cable Modem connection. Television w/Roku. Walk across the lawn down to the shore in the morning or see the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Relax & enjoy the peace & quiet with us. The space This cottage is adjacent to our home and is just a short walk across the lawn down to the shore. We are located on the western side of Mount Desert Island in the coastal village of West Tremont. You can get to parts of Acadia National Park within 10 minutes and to Bar Harbor in about 30 minutes. No matter where you stay on MDI, you will explore the whole island. This cottage is on a two acre lot adjoining our home. Stay with us and enjoy the peace and quiet of our location. You will be very glad you did. Guest access Walk down to the shore any time you wish. We do have excellent wireless internet service with Spectrum.
