Welcome to the clean comfortable room in our home that is within walking distance to Notre Dame campus. Great for attending any ND event/game! The home is on a quiet cul-de-sac with a spacious front deck. The home has a nice size common living room and a nice size common dining area. We are easy drives to Notre Dame, Bethel University, IU South Bend, Red Bud Racetrack, Lake Michigan, Amish country, and downtown South Bend. The space You will enter our home by walking across a spacious front deck. The deck is great for socializing with other guests by having coffee on in the mornings and a cocktail in the evening watching the sun set. Inside, there is a large common living room with a big screen TV, games for kids as well as families, and lots of room to relax. The common kitchen area has a coffee and tea bar. The bar has lots of coffee available and a French press is available. The bar has an assortment of teas and a programmable kettle for that perfect cup of tea. There is a nice sized dining room for family friendly dining. We have a water R/O system installed for the fully filtered drinking water. The Basketball room, located on the first floor, has 2 double beds bunk style. There is a full bath on the 1st floor as well. The Basketball room has all the linens you need, extra towels, blankets and pillows. We provide hand and shower soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The Basketball room has a nice bright window and there is closet space and a luggage rack for your luggage. We have high speed Wi-Fi available and a printer if you need one. Our house is clean and well lit. It’s a short walk to Notre Dame for game weekend. And there are almost always homemade cookies Guest access Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac and parking is fairly easy. If you are in town for a game weekend, you can park at the house for free and walk to the game. The walk back after the game is an easy one and faster than driving back! There are a few places to eat in walking distance as well. If you are visiting South Bend for other events, we are close to downtown South Bend and Mishawaka. We are about 35 minutes from the beach at Lake Michigan. About 45 minutes from the Outlet Mall in Michigan City. About 50 minutes to Shipshewana. Red Bud racetrack is only 30 minutes away! During your stay We are on site if we can help with anything. Other things to note We are more of a traditional B&B where guests can rent by the room, making it more affordable for families or small groups of friends to stay. If you choose you may rent whole house. We live in the attached house; we are here if you need us but otherwise you have the area to yourself. All our rooms are clean and bright. Each room can sleep up to 4 people. This is our home, so we are here to greet you on arrival and make sure you have everything you need. We will be happy to show you your room and where everything is, especially the coffee bar and cookies! We want you have a great time while here, however, the house is not the “party house” atmosphere. We do allow certain events and would be happy to talk with you about what you are interested in, however, we would request that you rent the whole house. We have had several wedding parties, showers, family reunions, etc. for those guests that have rented the whole house.
