Appleton Cottage by the lake - Georgian Bay

Welcome to Appleton Cottage -Georgian Bay lakeside cottage - only 90 minutes north of Toronto. Our cottage has 3 bedrooms with large private backyard and a 2-3 mins walk to the beach. The beach is sandy , shallow and with full view of spectacular sunset. Our large private backyard is nestled amongst mature pine trees and a meandering stream. There is also a boat launch, a park and children's playground nearby. Boating , fishing, swimming, hiking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. The space Our cottage has 3 bedrooms that can sleep 6 people. Queen size bed in the master bedroom, double size bed in the second bedroom and another double size bed in the 3rd bedroom. There are 2 double size futons in the living room that can also be used for sleeping Our kitchen is newly remodeled. Complete with pots and pans, dishes, cups, spoons, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffeemaker etc. full size fridge and full size oven. Our four piece bathroom (toilet, sink/vanity, shower and bathtub ) fully renovated We are located on a short dead end road (no traffic) and has no neighbors on the back and on one side of the property Our private backyard is large (about an acre) and is backing unto greenbelt/forest and surrounded by mature pine trees and meandering stream Occasional sighting of magical, fairylike fireflies at dusk in the backyard forest We have a fire pit for an evening of enjoyment. firewood not provided There is a backyard patio and outdoor furniture ideal for entertaining , picnics. There is propane BBQ with half a tank of propane gas provided. Our private driveway can accommodate up to 2 cars . Our cottage is open only during the months of May - October and available for rent on a weekly ( 7 days minimum) in the months of July and August. or monthly accommodation. In the months of July and August we require Saturday check in We give 10% discount for monthly rental The Township of Tiny is enforcing a strict short term rental by-law and all renters are required to sign and adhere to the "Renters Code of Conduct". Tiny Short Term Rental License STRTT-2025-127 Guest access The guest has full access to the entire cottage and the large backyard. The garage is locked - off limits Other things to note Easy self check in /out using a keypad with a code provided We provide beddings and linens and pillows as well as blankets. Bring your own bath towels and beach towels We provide Rogers high speed internet unlimited usage. We provide free parking permit for 1 car to be used in Tiny public parking sites Water supply from our cottage area is from shallow well (not recommended for drinking) so bring bottled water for consumption Indoor heating is by means of portable electric heaters . Before using the firepit - please read the manual/ instruction provided in the cottage for safety and fire restrictions to avoid wild fires. There is a fine imposed by the the township for violations. Some firewood provided. We are on septic system for waste water disposal so please be mindful of what you flush in the toilet You are responsible for any damage in the cottage caused by you or your guest. Principal renter must be 25 years of age and should provide valid ID (Drivers license) You will be responsible for any damage to my property and any damage to other property.
