Hawks Barn, overlooking Pen-y-Ghent, is a luxury mix of contemporary combined with original charm, situated 0.6 miles from Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Perfect for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, Pennine Way, Pennine Bridleway or a relaxing rural break away from the madding crowd. Rooms can be split, superkings, singles or a mix sleeping a total of 9 guests. For evenings out, the warm and welcoming Crown Hotel pub is ideally located at the end of the lane, an easy 10min walk (Sleeps 9). The space 3 BEDROOMS: WE USE ZIP&LINK BEDS SO CAN BE SUPERKINGS + UNDERBEDS OR SINGLE BEDS (to accommodate up to 9 guests). Hawks Barn has a wonderful dining/ chill out area downstairs with comfortable seating around a large table. There is also a 65 inch smart TV to watch in the evening or simply play board games and recount tales around the handmade wooden table. Upstairs there is a lounge area with another smart TV and sofas to kick back after a day out. There is a family bathroom upstairs with bath, separate shower, toilet and washbasin and another shower room with shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet on the ground floor. It has three large bedrooms which can be singles, twins, triples, superkings or even a quad. There is a kitchen downstairs too with a dishwasher, because who needs to wash up on holiday! We have an outside courtyard garden with seating area. 3 BEDROOMS (Sleeps 9) ROOM CONFIGURATION AS FOLLOWS: Pen-y-ghent Room - (Sleeps 3) Layout 1 = Superking Layout 2 = Twin (2 full size singles) Layout 3 = Twin or Superking with additional underbed single. Ingleborough Room - (Sleeps 3-4) Layout 1 = Superking Layout 2 = Twin (2 full size Singles) Layout 3 = Twin or Superking with additional underbed single. Layout 4 = Twin or Superking with 2 additional underbed singles. (Layout option 4 utilises the additional underbed single from one of the other rooms) Whernside Room - (Sleeps 3) Layout 1 = Twin (2 full size singles) Layout 2 = Superking Layout 3 = Twin or Superking with additional underbed single. Our pricing is based on one price for 1 to 4 persons, to accomodate the smaller groups, then we charge £29pppn thereafter. DOWNSTAIRS The dining lounge downstairs provides a comfortable area to relax, plan your next adventure or watch TV on the 65 inch Smart TV. UPSTAIRS The sofa lounge upstairs is a fabulous chill out / reading area (with SmartTV) which is great if you have kids so they can have their own space. KITCHEN This is on the ground floor as you walk in equipped with oven, hob, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, a second fridge can be provided for longer stays. It also has a dishwasher, a sink and a microwave. BATHROOM UPSTAIRS There is a seperate bath and shower, washbasin and toilet. SHOWER ROOM DOWNSTAIRS There is a shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. OUTSIDE There is a small walled courtyard garden with seating / al fresco dining and on-site parking. We also have a bike rack. If you'd like use of our front garden too with grass for sports etc., just ask, not a problem. Guest access We use a lock box for obtaining the house key. A code will be sent a week before your stay along with other check-in information from Tilly at Yorkshire Stays. Parking for multiple cars, a courtyard garden with seating, bike washing facilities (on request) and direct access to the trails from your doorstep! Use of our panoramic field might be of interest to those budding artists or photographers visiting the area to capture its natural beauty. We have a wonderful view from the top of the field of the steam train when it comes along! Other things to note We recommend bringing house slippers as we have stone floors in the kitchen. We do allow 1 small dog on request at a charge of £50 per stay. If you’d like a late check‑out until noon, we’re happy to offer this for £25, depending on availability. Early check‑in from 1pm is also possible for £25, subject to availability.
