Close to Columbia, USC and Ft. Jackson. 3 Decks, 1 dock, hot tub & fire pit w/ wood. Private upper deck to the 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath suite with Open Kitchen, Living & Game Area w/ large flat screen TVs, Pool, Ping Pong & Foosball table. The entire upstairs is your private area w/ views of the lake. We offer boat tours. Fees apply. The space The upstairs suite includes 2 Bedrooms and 1 Full Bath. The large open living room and full kitchen have a big screen TV with Firestick, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Peacock and an antenna for local channels. We offer many fun amenities such as: WII with numerous games, board games, cards and puzzle. DVD player, movies, games, ping pong and pool table, foosball table, Chess/Checkerboard table with chairs; breakfast nook with window overlooking lake, and more. There is a charcoal and a propane grill in the yard. We have a pest control service, so that it is virtually MOSQUITO FREE. This makes a BIG difference in your enjoyment of any property. There is a King bed with memory foam mattress in the large master bedroom, and big screen TV as well as a sitting area with a window overlooking the lake. The 2nd. bedroom has a queen bed. A queen-sized blow-up mattress is available which will easily fit in the master bedroom or game room area. Fresh clean linens are on the beds with extra sheets, blankets and pillows. Fresh clean towels in your private bathroom. Iron and Ironing board in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom drawer. We are on a peninsula with lake views. The second story makes for an expansive view and feeling, especially from your deck. The lake front outside consists of 3 decks, 1 dock, swimming area with floats and life jackets. We have a large yard with corn hole, kayaks, tables and chairs, charcoal grill, gas grill and fit pit with wood provided. Along with big screen TV for watching sports. What more can you ask for! We are as close to Columbia and Lexington as you can possibly be on Lake Murray. Our LOCATION is 10-15 minutes away from downtown Columbia and about 5 minutes from Lexington and any kind of shopping you may need. There is a Dollar General two blocks away. Most of the other locations on Lake Murray are 45 minutes to an hour or more to Columbia, shopping and other attractions. But, if you want isolation and want to spend a lot of travel time, you may prefer one of those that are rented by a Rental company and do not offer the hospitality that we do. Just saying.... Guest access You will have access to all the amenities the property offers. From the circular driveway where you park your vehicles, which is connected to the cement walkway to your large private deck and landing with steps leading to the lake. By the lake we have swings, tables and chairs to hang out and have a cup of coffee, tea, cold beer or a glass of wine and relax and enjoy the beauty. Our yard is beautiful with lush green grass and a large variety of flowers blooming in spring and summer. There are many trees for nice, shaded areas to just sit enjoy the breeze from the lake. We have a dock on our property for docking your boat or fishing or just hanging out. Let us know if you plan to bring a boat. There is a marina 2 blocks away where you can launch your boat. We have a fire pit with wood provided. My husband is a licensed Captain and we will take you out for lake cruises. Sunset is my favorite. Fees apply. Other things to note You will be renting the entire upstairs. We live downstairs. We are not intrusive or judgmental. Coffee maker with Coffee, sugar, green tea, oatmeal, grits and more will be set up for your enjoyment upstairs. We host deck boat outings. My husband is a licensed Captain and we will take you out on lake tours, Sunset cruises, Purple Martin tours or lake front restaurant excursions. Also cruising around the dam or to any of the marinas and restaurants on the lake. Additional fees apply. We are located within 2 miles to any kind of shopping you may need. There are many good restaurants close by. The use of the 4 Kayaks is included at no fee. There is a Dollar General couple of blocks away. Lexington Discount Beverages have the best prices for adult beverages, it less that 2 miles away. The Lake Murray dam which is less than 1 mile from us is great for walking, running or biking. It has a beautiful view. Saluda Shoals Park and The Riverbanks Zoo are very popular, and both have a beautiful Christmas Extravaganza through the end of December. Riverbanks Zoo is one of the best in the nation. Congaree National Forest is about a 15-minute ride.
