Large 3 bedroom w/loft/2 bathroom lake home. A pine interior creates a Northwoods feeling and large patio is great for gathering outside. It is air conditioned, has a gas fireplace, its own private dock, fire ring, charcoal grill and wood picnic table. Rates up to 8 people. Dogs are ALLOWED December - April. $25 per dog/night. It is air conditioned, has a gas freestanding fireplace for use during the winter months and its own private 50' dock during the summer months. Outside is also a private fire ring (firewood available for purchase at lodge), propane & charcoal grill (charcoal not included) and wood picnic table. Aluminum canoes, sit-on-top kayaks and a paddle boat are available at 'no charge'. We also rent kevlar canoes and 16'/25hp fishing boats by the day. We are a small resort with 2 bedroom/1 bathroom lakeside cabins and now our new 4 bedroom/2 bathroom lake home. We live on site. We are just 7 miles southeast of Ely, MN and a short paddle across to the famous Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center, Dorothy Molter Museum and hiking trails are all a short drive away.
