Bald Eagles and and Osprey hunt and live in the State lands across the bay. You don't know how large the eagles are until they land in the trees in the back yard. While the main Living/Dining room has television, the other living room can be closed off with sliding doors for some quiet reading time with a Futon, couch, and chair. The second floor has a large master bedroom, a kid's bedroom with a twin-over-full-sized bunk-bed, and a full bath with tub/shower. 4 Kayaks are included in the rental. You launch in the pond across the street or down the hill in the backyard and into the bay. Parking in front of house will accommodate three cars. A second driveway provides room for a couple more. House water is drinkable. A large reverse-osmosis system provides water for the whole house (dishes, showers, etc.). If you've been to Popham before, you know what a rarity this is!
