Enjoy our vacation home that was built in 1935 with the original wood floors and ceilings in the main living areas. This home is located 1/2 block away from West Side community center which offers free use of their gym and yoga classes. Adjacent to the center is a park with a pavillion, grills, and playground equipment and a splash park for the kids. We are located a 5 minute walk from the Gulf, 10 minute walk to Island view casino, and a 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants. Our whole home is available to you except for the locked owner's closet in the back room. My partner Sandy is available to you in person if needed. I love the southern hospitality of this neighborhood. Neighbors are very friendly, and the home is on a quiet and safe street. The backyard is secluded with trees and plants. Like all rentals on the Gulf Coast, there is a train line that runs intermittently throughout the day--we are located a block + away from the tracks so it's not super loud, but it is noticeable. The driveway is on an unused alleyway, so there is roughly 75 feet for you to park your trailer comfortably. The home has a shared driveway, so pull up past the neighbors slab so they can get in and out easily. There is also free street parking in front of the house. This is our vacation home, and is set up for long term use so the kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cookie sheets, rolling pins, etc. and utensils for you to do some real cooking if you choose to. There is a WalMart in Pass Christian for groceries, and a Winn Dixie off of Railroad St. in Long Beach, but I recommend you try Rouses Market on Pass Road in Gulfport for the freshest produce and a greater selection of gourmet items. For fresh seafood, I reccommend that you visit the pier in Pass Christian for fresh caught shrimp, crab, and crawfish , it will be worth your time!
