In Siena, it is worth visiting the Duomo and the beautiful Piazza del Campo, where the famous medieval horse race, the Palio, is held twice a year, on July 2 and August 16. Florence awaits you with its impressive old town and cathedral, Michelangelo's David, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and a multitude of ancient squares. Those of you who appreciate local cuisine and excellent Tuscan wines can look forward to the countless wine cellars and typical trattorias and restaurants.
