It is 5 minutes to Main St OEI, 1-2 miles from waterfalls. House has an open floor plan to enjoy family gatherings and entertain. Sip wine on 2 levels of large covered decks overlooking our ponds, community garden and horse farm, with a beautiful mountain view! The space Nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Highlands made famous for Joe Webb Cabins, Twin Ponds is perfect for nature lovers with a discerning taste! Beautifully appointed home within walking distance to Lake Sequoyah and On the Verandah restaurant. It is 1.5 miles to Main Street, 5 minutes' drive to Old Edwards Inn and Spa, 1-2 mile from Bridal Veil Falls, and Dry Falls, and Callasaja Falls. Our favorite though is to take the private trail right from the front of the house to Cliffside Lake, or walk to tour the famous Joe Webb Cabins. Sip wine on two large covered decks overlooking two ponds on our property, the community garden, , picturesque horse farm and mountains in the distance. Wake up in the morning and have yoga on the deck by the pond, with birds singing around you! Sip coffee on the dock glider on the pond to take in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the beautiful lotus flowers and fish darting out of water. Or, simply enjoy a lazy afternoon in the hammock with your favorite book, or hanging out in the rockers with friends and family...At night, we love roasting marshmallows by the fire pit! Our home is over 3000 sqft of interior space on three levels. We just went through a brand new kitchen renovation, with beautiful cabinets, leathered hard marble countertop, and a big island overlooking the garden and horse farm. House has 5 bedrooms, and 3 full and 1 half bath. It is a fabulous house with an open floor plan to enjoy the family gathering and entertain. Main floor has cathedral ceilings, a very large living room seats 7-10, with a Mitchell Gold sofa, smart TV, and a gas fireplace at the click of a bottom. Dining room has an enormous Restoration Hardware dining table that can accommodate 10, kitchen with a sliding window to connect to the outdoor bar area. French doors open up to a huge deck, with dining tables, a seating area and an outdoor bar area connected to the kitchen with a sliding window. We have a grill, and an outdoor cooler to make family meals and entertaining easy. Upper level has a master bedroom with a King bed, and another bedroom with a queen. Enjoy a soothing bath in the beautiful claw foot tub, big enough for two. Lower level has three bedrooms, 1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 Twins. It also has another sitting area with TV and DVD player, and a foosball table that converts to a small pool table. We have prepared lots of games, books and movies for the rainy days. We have four SmartTVs in the house in total for you. We have attempted to make our home as comfortable as possible to make your visit an exceptional one. We have stocked the kitchen with lots of pots and pans, Krups Coffee/Espresso combo, Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart bread maker, toaster, blender, crockpot, rice maker, popcorn maker and more. Contemplating buying a purple mattress? The lower level king bedroom has one. Try it before you buy it. We have also compiled a guide for your stay for various activities and restaurants. There is a starter kit to get your vacation started, but please feel free to bring additional supplies. We hope you will enjoy Twin Ponds! Guest access You have access to the entire house. Only one closet is used for owner/cleaner's closet. Other things to note House is very convenient to Main Street as well as outdoor activities. We have compiled a folder for activities in the area.
