Sunspot is one of the largest private lodges on Schweitzer Mountain and features 5 suites, central AC, an 8 person hot tub and a completely remodeled kitchen. Every family member or friend can enjoy their own private retreat in this home after coming together in the great room, kitchen and patio. Sunspot is within walking distance to the Schweitzer Resort for winter or summer activities and optimized for guests looking to share Sandpoint's beauty and world class outdoor activities. The space Sunspot has been modernized and decorated to maximize comfort and convenience for a large gathering in any season and is one of the only homes on Schweitzer with central air conditioning to keep the entire home at the perfect temperature. Sunspot boasts 3800 square feet of amenities spread across 5 floors, to include a fully stocked kitchen with luxury appliances and table settings for 24, a private master retreat with a fireplace, Peloton, and dedicated WFH space, and 4 two-story secondary suites with ensuite bathrooms. The Lodge includes a large dressing and equipment room on the first floor, designed with both adults and children in mind, to make suiting up for a day of skiing or biking easy and enjoyable. The Lodge also includes a brand-new washer and dryer to keep your active wear in top condition for the trip. On the main floor, the Lodge has a completely remodeled kitchen equipped with luxury appliances and enough pots, pans, wine glasses and kitchen utensils to prepare any meal. The dining room has two seating areas to accommodate groups of various sizes for formal or informal meals and a separate bar area near the main fireplace to unwind in the evening. The main level master suite has lofted wood ceilings, its own fireplace, and dedicated WFH and exercise spaces to allow guests to maintain their work or workout routines in a comfortable and tranquil environment. A Peloton bike and yoga mats are provided for guests to use while looking out over the ridges of Schweitzer Mountain. The master suite also features a jetted tub and walk in shower. The top floors of the Lodge have four two-story bedroom suites, each with its own full bath and a loft sleeping area for the little ones. All upstairs suites are equipped with smart TVs , allowing guests to stream their favorite content throughout the house, and wet bars with small refrigerators, sinks, and microwaves. Loft sleeping areas are accessed via ladders and have full sized beds. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire Sunspot Lodge, from the private entrance to the patio. We live offsite but are nearby to provide any assistance you might require during your stay. Other things to note We have an 8 person hot tub on our private deck overlooking the Selkirk mountain range - available all year round. For summer and fall guests, we have a kamado style grill and patio furniture to take full advantage of the stunning alpine sunsets and cool mountain breezes.
