A shared dock gives full access to this serene no wake cove for swimming, paddleboarding, and docking your boat, so you can enjoy all the lake has to offer. Our pet friendly atmosphere allows you to enjoy this setting without having to leave your canine family members behind. Within a 30 minute drive, Smith Mountain Lake offers access to horseback riding, golf, hiking trails, and wineries. The nearby state park includes a small beach for younger visitors. This is Virginia's most popular lake and is a fisherman's paradise, with over 500 miles of shoreline on this 40-mile long, 20,000 acre lake stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike and panfish. High-speed internet allows for viewing movies and shows from your own streaming accounts and the occasional remote work if absolutely necessary. This two-bedroom, one bath cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and a charcoal grill for use on the full length deck. A common dock is shared with neighbors in Cabin 1. While the cabin is dog-friendly, due to the increased wear and tear to the property and furnishings, as well as increased cleaning, there is a $50 pet fee.
