Estella Luxury King Suite at Artful Lodger Inn

The Artful Lodger Inn in Historic Newport Rhode Island was built circa 1850 ,one block from the Harbor, located in the Mansion District. It has been operating since 1992 after being meticulously restored by owners, Rory and Ric Ranucci. The Inn has ample Off Street Parking and a Full Breakfast is served in our Conservatory with Stunning Views of the Newport Harbor. The space Inspired by The Charles Dicken's Novel "Great Expectations" this room features a Fireplace and Sitting Area, Refrigerator & 2 person Jet Tub. Our spacious Estella King Suite Is on the second floor. An extra deep King Bed with 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets & cotton towels,. Breakfast is served daily in our Conservatory overlooking Downtown Newport and Newport Harbor. What our guests are saying: We spent a long weekend in Newport recently...we had never been there, so didn’t know what to expect. We knew we wanted a quiet and charming bed and breakfast, close to the mansions, close to the harbor, and we didn’t want to spend HUGE amounts. The Artful Lodger was perfect. We had a beautiful room, with a relaxing jacuzzi, a fireplace and a wonderfully soft bed. Phil was a great host...had answers for every question, and made a terrific breakfast. We sort of felt as if we were staying with family..it was that comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better..I would say it is located halfway between the mansions, and the harbor. We could have walked everywhere, but we were too lazy. When we return, we probably will walk, as the parking by the harbor is brutal and expensive. I don’t have anything but praise for the Artful Lodger..Phil has put a lot of work into making a place to stay that one wants to actually stay, and not just sleep..and he has done a great job.
