Other things to note Please note, the charm of this Shepherd's Hut lies in its complete privacy and escape from modern life. Due to its rural location, the internet provided is mobile data-based and may not support large downloads, with varying speeds. Power comes from solar panels, so please avoid overloading the system. The fridge in the hut also runs on battery packs. The wood-burning heater and hot tub require guests to light and maintain them manually. Logs are provided, and we offer a guide with pictures to help. While there’s no oven, the hut is equipped with two hobs and a kettle. Please note, there is no freezer, and water pressure can fluctuate, occasionally affecting the shower. Only the provided hairdryer should be used. All bedding is hypoallergenic, and an initial supply of logs, matches, and kindling is provided. For stays longer than two weeks, we offer a complimentary mid-stay clean and linen change. A refundable £300 damage deposit is required before your stay, unless booked through Airbnb. For direct bookings via Hosting Holidays, 50% payment is taken upfront, with the remaining 50% collected five days before check-in. One-month stays are also available through Hosting Homes Henley.
