The Lake District National Park is also within easy reach at just an hour’s drive away. Alternatively, the bustling market town of Skipton is only 11 miles away and there are plenty of mill shops in the surrounding towns which provide quality products at discounted prices. The National Trust site of Malham Cove is a short drive away and there are various local walks. The Settle to Carlisle railway line takes you through stunning scenery, and if you are lucky, you may be able to catch a steam train. For those who like touring, the Yorkshire Dales and Trough of Bowland are within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
