Underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Guest, Doggie and Cleaning Welcome packs provided. Lawned garden and sitting-out area with garden furniture and barbecue set. 2 small/medium dogs welcome. Bike storage available. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. There is a 2-acre field to enjoy. (shared with owner and other guests on-site). Please note there is an unfenced pond in the field.. The light & airy holiday barn with its vaulted ceiling is surprisingly spacious for a sleeps 2 conversion. Its situated just outside of the village of Baschurch which is set near to Shrewsbury and Ellesmere. Baschurch offers pubs, takeaways, churches, a large convenience store and cash point. The local bus, that operates between Shrewsbury and Ellesmere, collects and drops off on Springfield Barns main drive allowing guests to leave the car behind. Shropshire is a gem of a county with so much to explore within easy reach. The north of the county offers the meres, mosses and canals along with the county town of Shrewsbury. Whereas the south of the county offers the stunning Shropshire Hills and food renowned market town of Ludlow. The county is home to Ironbridge World Heritage Site and nine National Trust sites including Attingham Park. Shrewsbury is the birthplace of Charles Darwin and is a wonder of medieval black and white buildings. The town offers fantastic dining, individual shops, craft markets, museums, art galleries and the stunning Dingle within the Quarry Park. The barn is set within the boundary of the owner’s grounds and it neighbours The Parlour (ref UK10958) on one side. There is private parking for two cars and the property is accessed from the main drive. You step through the front door into a very modern, bright, airy open plan conversion with vaulted ceilings and beautifully restored original exposed beams. Firstly, into the fully fitted and equipped kitchen area with breakfast bar, oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and ample storage space. Then into the living area with dining table for two people and the peaceful living area with a 32” Freeview TV and sofa. To the rear of the living area is the sleeping area with a double divan bed with extra storage and an en-suite shower room. There are two seating areas, one within the lawned garden and the other under the barn window. Both areas are ideal for relaxing and barbecuing. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile. The Dairy can be booked together with The Parlour (UK10958) to accommodate up to 4 guests with social dining taken in The Parlour and giving each set of guests their own bathroom.
