This is your home away from home (and civilization!). Experience pure, simple joy away from the busy world of city life. Unwind in your private cottage and, when napping, lounging, & daydreaming gets to be too relaxing—if that is such a thing—there are a wide range of activities available - including hiking, kayaking, whale watching, deep-sea fishing, & scuba diving, as well as museums to explore, art classes to take, spas to luxuriate in, and restaurants to sample! The space The cottage features 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds (both with soft sheets and cozy quilts or duvets) and each room has a closet full of hangers. The living room is outfitted with two very comfortable sofa beds (all linens are provided), and a TV (Roku TV with Netflix, etc). The bright 3-piece bathroom has a bathtub, shower, vanity and comes fully stocked with towels, hand-towels, face cloths, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Enjoy the kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances and all of the cooking essentials necessary to prepare favourite meals in your home-away-from-home. The cottage offers a BBQ, a fire pit, and Adirondack chairs for those who love to relax by the fire at the end of the day. Explore all day and tell stories by the fire at night. The cottage is only a 1-2 minute walk from a very quiet beach and is located a short 7-8 minute drive from Saint Andrews. You are also welcome to explore the 2-3 km of forest, farm, and seaside trails on our neighbouring farm. While the cottage is close to everything, we love that it feels a million miles from anywhere. Guest access A 1-2 minute walk leads you along the edge of a meadow and down to a very quiet beach where you can relax and explore an extensive coastline. Beautiful St. Andrews by the sea is a short 7-8 minute drive away and offers endless opportunities for everyone, whether your interests are in outdoor adventure, taking in the local art or food scene, or just strolling from shop to shop. We have installed a beautiful new fence along the tree-line for privacy purposes.
