This is spacious three bedroom, two-bath home is located within walking distance to Sugarloaf Marina. The kitchen, master bedroom, laundry room, and living room are located on the first floor. The second bathroom and two large bedrooms are located on the second level. The expansive lower deck has an outdoor table and patio sofa. It is the perfect place to relish a warm night with an adult beverage. Or park yourself on the couch and supervise the kids roasting marshmallows. Overnight accommodations are limited by the County to three (3) adults per bedroom (9 adults total) plus children under 16 for a total of 15 persons. "Adults" are defined as 16 years of age or older. Daily occupancy is limited to a maximum of five (5) guests per room (excluding children under 16 years of age) from 6 am until 10 pm (for a total of 15 persons). The three car garage has been transformed into a game room for kids and adults alike. Sit back on the sectional couch with some popcorn and enjoy a movie or supervise a game of mini table air hockey, mini ping pong, and billiards. Enjoy skiing, wake boarding, surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or just relaxing in the temperate waters! Nearby Sugarloaf provides close access to a boat ramp and excess parking. Please be aware that Shasta is a reservoir and is subject to low water and even drought conditions. You can check the average water levels online. You can also check the Caltrans cameras for visual levels however the water levels can vary daily by several feet. Even with low water levels, there are still views of the lake from the house however the nearby access to the marina/boat ramp can change significantly. Other local activities include several local hiking trails, Lake Shasta Caverns (20 minute drive), mountain biking, off-roading, and local beautiful water falls. This is a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Although there are additional rentals on the street, all neighbors expect mutual respect during quiet hours which are strictly enforced from 10 pm to 8 am. If you enjoy winter activities, the home is within an hour drive to Mt. Shasta Ski Park! Parking is limited by County restrictions to three vehicles. There are three parking spaces at the top of the steep driveway. Additional vehicles may be parked at Sugarloaf Marina (two parking passes are provided to guests). There is NO TRAILER PARKING permitted on the street pursuant to County regulations. Guests have full access to the home including the game room in the garage. There are even two baby gates located in the garage in case you want to limit access to any stair areas of the home in consideration of small children. Access to the home is via steep stairs to the main deck. There are approximately four parking spaces at the top of the steep driveway. Additional vehicles may be parked on the street although we recommend parking trailers and extra vehicles at Sugarloaf for ease of ingress and egress from all properties in the neighborhood. Please do NOT use or block access to neighboring properties. Cleaning fee is $250 A Ring doorbell is installed at the front door and on the deck. These are the only security camera/recording devices on the property. County restrictions prohibit outdoor burning (except gas fire pit on main deck). Further County restrictions mandate that any temporary, portable or other type of structure (ie tent, yurt, trailer, etc) is not permitted by the county. It is the responsibility of the tenant to be familiar with and under stand Shasta County Code 17 relating to short term rentals. Any violation will be cause for immediate removal of tenant.
