Pet-Friendly Holiday HomeIf you reserve a pet-friendly holiday home and wish to bring a dog charges apply. Charges are payable on-site to the On-site Manager @ €25 per dog, a maximum of 1 dog (strictly) per booking. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre, as your dog will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Local Area & Tourist AttractionsThe local village of Farranfore lies on the N22 road, approximately halfway between Tralee and Killarney. The village is a 5-minute drive from Hillside Holiday Home and has a selection of amenities including a grocery shop, petrol station, traditional Irish pubs, and several restaurants. Things to do in the local area: - Kerry Walk Walking trail - Ring of Kerry scenic drive - Killarney National Park - Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farm - McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range: including Irland’s highest Mountain – Carrauntoohill. - Killarney Golf & Fishing Club - Dingle Town & Dingle Peninsula - Skellig Islands - Torc Waterfall & Torc Mountain - Killarney Riding Stables IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property. 3. Towels: Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details in the arrival information document sent to you in the final payment confirmation). 4.
