We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Our two bedroom apartment w/ two queen beds, two bathrooms has everything you need to enjoy your stay in downtown Indianapolis! This historic building built in 1911 was once a department store converted into apartments. Gorgeous marble accents, interior atrium, chrome escalators, original columns & beams can still be seen on the interior of the building. Great views of central downtown from one of the many large windows. Enjoy coffee from the Keurig & free Wi-Fi! A communal laundry room located in the building for your convenience. Interior access to Skywalk & Circle Centre Mall and Indoor walkway to Statehouse. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. While traditional cable TV is not included in your stay, we do provide Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to use these services with your own login and enjoy! You can access the building anytime after 4pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby-proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system, however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise. Our suite is located in the south-central quadrant of downtown Indianapolis known as Mile Square. All of this is nestled in the Wholesale District which is known for its concentration of 19th- and early-20th-century landmarks like Union Railroad Station and the Majestic Building. The Wholesale District also includes cultural venues like the Indiana Repertory Theatre, plus upscale steakhouses and Italian and seafood spots. The dining is unbeatable, with world-class restaurants of every description within a short walk from anywhere and the popular Food Truck Fridays delivering more eclectic fare during the summer months. Dining options at nearby spots include places like The Old Spaghetti Factory, Punch Bowl Social Indianapolis, Nada, Yard House, Prime 47- Indy's Steakhouse, St. Elmo Steak House, and Spoke & Steele just to name a few. Downtown Indianapolis also features a thriving nightlife scene, mainly along Meridian Street and Massachusetts Avenue, incorporating an immense selection of bars, clubs, and live music venues for every taste.There are also Blues acts that play at the atmospheric Slippery Noodle Inn. Are sports your thing? While in town, catch the Indianapolis Colts play football at Lucas Oil Stadium. Why stop there? Bounce on over to Bankers Life Fieldhouse and see Indiana Pacers play basketball. Other sporting events to see are Notre Dame football, the famous Indy 500, and the Indianapolis Indians. The Indianapolis Indians are the professional Triple-A baseball club affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Indians play their home games at Victory Field, a 14,200-seat ballpark located in downtown Indianapolis and White River State Park. If you are looking for adventure, then Indianapolis is the place for you. We suggest you check out University park, Indiana State Museum, White Gardens, the Indianapolis Zoo, and the White River State Park just to name a few. Looking for a place where you can shop till you drop? If the answer is yes, then you'll want to check out the Indianapolis City Market, Rocket Fizz, Boomerang Boutique, Artisans, Circle Centre Mall, and The Fashion Mall at Keystone just to name a few. You will definitely have more things to do than time to do it during your stay in Indianapolis. Indianapolis is an extremely walkable city, making it easy to take in the sights by foot or bike. IndyGo provides bus service with over 30 fixed routes from their downtown transportation hub. The new Red Line is the city's first bus transit line with electric buses, platform level boarding, and high frequency service to 13 miles stretching from Broad Ripple in the north, through the heart of Indy's convention district, to the University of Indianapolis in the south. The nearest IndyGo bus is less than a 7 min walk away from our building. Indianapolis was named one of the best cities to see from a bicycle, thanks to the city’s flat landscape, innovative Indianapolis Cultural Trail, and abundance of bike paths. There is also Pacers Bike Share Program. These are available at two convenient rental locations. The nearest Pacers Bike Share is a little under a mile away from your suite. Indy is also proclaimed as one of the most walkable downtowns in the country. On foot, visitors can reach hundreds of restaurants and attractions around the city. An expansive network of climate-controlled skywalks connecting 4,700 hotel rooms to the convention center, Lucas Oil Stadium, a four-story mall, and restaurants keep it walkable in all weather. Rideshare programs such as Uber and Lyft are also available and make for a convenient way to get around the city as well. Do you already have a vehicle? Driving by car through Indianapolis makes it easy to travel from spot to spot as well. Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. Checkout is at 10am but we offer a complimentary extension to 11am as long as you request it 24 hours before your scheduled departure. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to arrange! At Frontdesk, a core value is to be a good neighbor. We extend this 5-star stay to you, our guests, as well as our property partners. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside of the suite. The number of people inside the suite may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. If removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense.
