The Little Green Toad Suite is an eclectic, Bohemian 2nd floor unit with 4 rooms. Sleeps up to 5. Bunk bed for 2, 1 queen bed, 1 futon couch. Full-service, funky, retro kitchen with a farm house sink, bistro table, fridge and all the necessities included. Claw foot tub, shower and pedestal sink in the bathroom. Large deck included! Perfect for traveling nurses, work assignments, reunions, sporting/music/theater events or for groups who prefer a kitchen. 2 night minimum. This unit is on the 2nd floor of my building and has its own entrance. Guests are welcome to use the patio grill and enjoy the back yard or hang on the upper deck. I stay closeby when both units are booked. If I'm out of town, I have a co-host. I typically leave the level of guest interaction up to the guests. Dutchtown is the largest neighborhood in St. Louis city and was originally known as the German section. It now boasts a very mixed population. Young, old, white, black, gay, straight, affluent, challenged. It has an amazing history, wonderful architecture and a growing sense of renaissance and renewal. It's come a long way since the interstate highways fractured the city and white flight took off toward the suburbs. We still have a long way to go. We have a progressive Alderman and Mayor who are working hard to make our city a better place to live. Always be aware of your surroundings. If you are not comfortable in an urban setting, this listing may not be for you. Driving, Uber or Lyft, taxi, Metro Bus, Metrolink light rail. This house is old and has a lot of quirks. Don't hesitate to ask where something is or how something works! Window a/c units, floor gas heater and baseboard heaters and ceiling fans are used. Please remove your shoes upon entering. Be mindful that there may be folks in the lower unit. Absolutely no weapons allowed on my property. NO PARTIES, NO DRUGS! Please place all used linens/towels in bathtub before check-out. Early check-in's and late check-out's may be assessed a $25/hour fee and will be at the discretion of the host and/or co-host.
