Description
Come relax in the Emma Room at the historic Vineyard Mansion. The namesake for this room is the wife of the original owner, B.R. Vineyard, and we have given her name to our most spacious accommodation. This room features a gorgeous, king bed, an elegant seating area, fireplace, two closets (including a walk-in), and en suite bath with claw-foot tub and antique, pedestal sink. The space The Vineyard Mansion was built in 1890, by the famed architectural firm of Eckel and Mann. Although we would love to have EVERYONE visit this beautiful property, due to the age of the home, the rooms, facilities, and grounds are not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Please take this into consideration before booking. All rooms at the Vineyard Mansion are decorated with period appropriate furnishings and antiques, a seating area, a king or queen bed, and either private access or en suite bath. Guest access Guests enjoy access to the foyer, grounds, parlor with TV, billiard room, kitchen and dining room. Breakfast is self-serve, so feel free to go to the kitchen any time you want. We stock breakfast items and coffee in the food pantry off the kitchen, please help yourself. We stock yogurt, juices, eggs, cheese, almond milk, etc. in the refrigerator so please don’t be shy and help yourself. If you would like to make yourself a special breakfast by-all-means do so. We try to create a home away from home with the way we do things here, so if you want to make dinner or cookies go right ahead. During your stay For your convenience, we have a live-in property manager/host available to answer questions, offer suggestions for area attractions, and provide some history about the property. Other things to note The Vineyard Mansion is 11,000 sq ft of building area. We are still in the process of ongoing restoration, which I am sure will last the rest of my life! So don't be surprised if we are doing upgrades someone in the building.
