A fully equipped 3 bedroom, 2 bath, private lake house with beautiful, unobstructed lake views. Across a small country road, a beach house and a dock with boat hook-ups on our private fenced-in beach, from which you can kayak (2), canoe (both provided), swim, paddle board, water ski, mountain bike and fish. You can take lovely strolls along the country lake road or venture out and go hiking, and golfing. There is a large enclosed porch looking over the lake, and a fireplace in the living room. The house is very comfortable with many areas to congregate both inside the house, on the porch, and outdoors. We also have a large private beach, and a quaint double decker "Beach House", which together with the dock sits right at the water’s edge. The beachfront is across the road from the small country road with very few cars passing by in a day. Inside the house, there are 2 large couches in front of the fireplace and TV, and a dining table for winter dining. The kitchen is very well equipped, with many tools for cooking, dishes and machines, plenty of coffee and tea, and a plethora of herbs and spices. There is a gas grill on the porch just off the kitchen. The long glassed-in porch is a 3 season porch, also with a dining area as well as an area with couches and chairs. There are three proper bedrooms (not just beds tucked into an alcove with no privacy) with very comfortable beds and quality linens, and 2 full baths, including an electric fireplace in the master bedroom. There is a high-end circuit weight training machine on the porch. There is a large concrete patio just off the porch where there is a firepit, and ample sitting space with chairs and a small table. Guests often have lunch or sunset cocktails on the upper deck of the beach house in the warmer months. WE PROVIDE YOU WITH 2 KAYAKS AND A CANOE to paddle around the lake and explore at your own convenience. It is also possible to drive onto the beach for those who have limited mobility. On the property, there is plenty of space for parking extra vehicles or trailers with ski mobiles, boats, etc. And uniquely, there is also an RV hookup available next to the patio for an extra fee. Even large RVs can fit in this space. We also have an RV hookup on one area of the beach at waterside, for an extra fee. Please inquire. Guests have access to the entire house, except for the basement storage area. In the winter, guests can access the ice directly for snow mobiling (many trails are set up around the lake), skating, ice fishing, and cross country skiing. A fishing license is required for summer and winter fishing and you can purchase it and get all the information is on the NH Fish and Game website. I travel quite often, but I am always available by phone and text. Also there is always someone dedicated to care for any issues which may come up or any questions you may have while I travel. When not traveling, I am never far away and happy to help or give advice in any way! Our little lake has a tight knit community and it is very safe. However, noise travels easily over the lake, so please take any loud noise inside the house at a reasonable hour. The resident loons are of great interest to all on the lake. We follow closely their arrival, the birth of the chicks and their rapid development for departure alone into the winter world. The parents leave first and the "babies" continue to practice flying and leave later in the season by themselves - hopefully before the lake freezes! You may also spot other wildlife out here, such as moose, deer, and bears. We have several breweries around the area, and specifically SCHILLING in Littleton - which also serves great pizza and other fare. There are tons of outdoor activities and attractions nearby... Golf all around: (See below) Breweries: (See below) Close by activities: Mt. Washington Omni Resort – Twin Mountain - 18 and 9 hole courses Maplewood Golf Course – Bethlehem Bethlehem Country Club - Bethlehem Sunset Hill Golf Course – Sugar Hill- 9 holes Car is the best bet. On the lake itself, any type of boat is the best means of transportation. The entrance to the house is a bit tricky! It is best to use the main driveway, where the mailboxes sit. Drive up the driveway and turn left onto the lawn behind the house and in front of the brown shed, and drive along the back of the house until you reach the patio area and porch. You can enter up the porch steps and into the kitchen, which is great when unloading groceries or any heavy packages. You can park there where the porch and patio area are, and along the back of the house. To leave, you can either back out (must do so in the winter) or continue straight ahead and around to the left onto the second driveway. It is rocky so be advised to drive slowly.
