When it’s time to eat, pull up one of the barstools, choose the breakfast nook, or make it a more formal affair in the large dining room, which seats ten. After breakfast, you can head out and explore local shops in Freeland or visit Langley, about five miles southeast. But with so many cozy nooks to occupy, including a bonus rec room, as well as a wood-burning fireplace on the main level, you may want to hibernate. There are three TVs with streaming capabilities as well, so everyone can watch what they want. If you’re into jigsaw puzzles, there’s a custom-made puzzle table that seats up to four people and a cabinet full of puzzles and games for you to enjoy. Amateur astronomers and ship-watchers will love the telescope and binoculars. The well-stocked bookshelves offer the opportunity to leave a book and take a new one, if you love to curl up with a water view and a fabulous story.
