The Olympic Village Inn condominiums are nestled at the base of Squaw Valley ski area, a short walk or a two minute shuttle to ski lifts or the new Village. Enjoy any of five hot tubs or swim in the large heated pool. Unit amenities include eiderdown comforters, kitchenette with modern appliances and cookware, thick terry cloth robes, tub with a massage shower, high-speed internet access, two TVs, DVD player, and a complete entertainment center. Barbecue, washer, and dryer are available in community area. This charming complex was originally built for the 1960 Olympics and then renovated as condominiums. It is very close to the ski lifts, yet slightly secluded and peaceful. The complex has a fantastic knowledgeable staff that provides activities for both kids and adults. For those that would prefer not walk 200 yards to the lifts, there is a continuous shuttle. Our unit is small, but charming and functional (see diagram). Skis and snowboards may be conveniently checked at the front entrance. Squaw Valley USA has 32 ski lifts, reaching six peaks that provide terrain choices for skiers of all experience levels. Ice-skating and cross-country skiing are also available.
